I researched and obtained several quotes for my home exterior Reno job which included new James Hardy sidings, new windows and doors, rebuild two patios and a complete exterior finishing. SIS was able to meet my multiple needs because they were able to do it all. Others could only did one thing for example the siding. Going with SIS saved me the time and hustle in dealing with different contractors doing different jobs. I only need to communicate with the main project manager and his staff. They were very professional and addressed all my concerns in a very timely manner.

Our experience with S.I.S. was awesome. They helped us work through our design and were always responsive to our many tweaks as we went through the process. We liked their design app that allowed them to show visuals of how our house would look in the end. The quote they gave us was very competitive and they were fair with the pricing differences for our many changes as we went along. The exterior of our house was damaged by a hailstorm in July 2021. SIS completely renovated the exterior of our house, new Hardie board siding, new stone work, plus new front & back decks. Excellent Quality of work and workmanship. My only complaint was the housekeeping during the erection of the rock facing, we had a lot of cement dust on our deck and windows and we were left with a big mess to clean up.

I am very happy with my choice to replace my hail-damaged vinyl siding with James Hardie cement siding. It didn't cost much more than vinyl and like vinyl, it's maintenance free. I like that James Hardie siding is much more hail resistant and should also protect my house against fire (important to me since the houses here are really close together and both my neighbours have fire pits). I'm also noticing this siding doesn't attract dirt like the vinyl siding did. I highly recommend this siding for anyone looking for an alternative to vinyl.The SIS installers were skilled craftsmen, who did a great job, right down to the details like making some custom flashings. I also had SIS install new windows and doors and am similarly impressed with that install. The crewsworked hard, were polite and respectful. The project manager was conscientious and genuinely wanted to make my renovation experience a good one.If I had any advice to other people hiring SIS, it would be to confirm design details and other decisions in writing before the work begins just to make sure everyone is on the same page. My renovation did not go perfectly smoothly (renovations rarely do). Some accidental damage was incurred and there was a miscommunication on how the bay windows were to be trimmed. But in the end, SIS made everything right, which in my experience, makes them one of the better companies out there.
