Smith douglas is a good builder. House price is affordable. The house design is trariffic.

Smith Douglas Homes is top-notch from beginning to end.

My closing date was pushed back over 5 months due to repeated errors by Smith Douglas’ builders. I was routinely given blatantly false information throughout the process.

Fit and finish quality is lacking. Followup on fixing items is very lacking. There are still things that were found during the walkthrough which aren't fixed weeks after move in.

Our site manager did an awesome job at communication and helping us with any problems/questions we have had. The home came out beautifully for the price and overall we are very happy with our purchase.

One of my friends referred me to Smith Douglas Homes. My friend is not satisfied. He moved from Alabama to here. They denied his certificate because of the change of state. They should have told him before we bought the house. My friend is not happy.

I highly recommend working with Robin and Gary at Smith Douglas Homes, Robin made it a very easy process, heard our needs and desires and put us in our dream home. She stayed in contact with us throughout the whole process and no matter what time a day she was always there to answer our questions or concerns. Gary was amazing and made sure by the time we closed we knew everything from the inside and outside of our home. Very informative and you can see he definitely showed care in the quality of building and the completion process of the home. They went above and beyond and we are very blessed Robin and Gary helped us get in our place we now call home.

Richard was truly amazing. He was very prompt when replying to questions and he went above and beyond to make sure I was in the home I wanted.

The agent was great, however they should have paid more attention to detail in the home.

My contract was cancelled because Smith Douglas said my time expired to get financing with Movement Mortgage. I received an email saying they were keeping my $11,500 I put down as good faith funds. I tried explaining the situation I was having with their preferred lender but it fell on deaf ears. I contacted my lender from my previous house and he had me pre-approved in 24 hours and convinced SD to reinstate my good faith funds because I did nothing wrong. With my old lender I closed in 21 days on the house I initially began with 6 months prior! This was my fourth house I’ve built from the ground up and definitely the most stressful! Not to mention several issues with the house that I had to deal with once I moved in that really should have been addressed prior to moving in.

The agent and staff I had the joy of dealing with it made it easy! The options provided were great and the quality of the home was above average per my inspector!

Even though thr start date was delayed due to the city but new home specialist, contractor and contact with SDH have gone well.

There is no ameneties, not even walk ways at longbrooke, which is really bad. The windows doesn't come with screens, no bathroom handles or towel hanger and unfortunately don't tell it during the sales.
