Once insurance finished their process Spangler reached out to handle repairs. They worked with my schedule and adjusted when we lost power for 2 days due to a storm. When I confirmed we regained power they came out same day to complete. I’m completely satisfied with how everything was done.
I was very impressed with the quality of service from Spangler Restoration. High quality work, plenty of communication and hassle free coordination with my insurance company. I was very pleased.
I would not recommend them to anybody. Our project manager was awful although there were several people that were good. The final product is great but nine months to do the job is ridiculous.
Spangler did a great job with cleanup and repair at my property, and all of their people were great to deal with. I would definitely use them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.
Yea I would recommend but caution that pricing is pretty high.
They seemed to do a through job and went to any steps to be sure the area was dry before beginning restoration work !!
Job was dragged out too long. Communication was very poor as to what was happening.
They did an excellent job. I didn't have any complaints about anything. Russ did an excellent job, and I am very pleased with the results.
Response time was excellent
Good overall work, but it took 8 months to finish a job that only took 2-3 weeks once remodeling was actually started.
I would not recommend
Ann Kathryn Bosdell, my State Farm agent, recommended Spangler to my husband and I. Melissa Crain responded immediately and she and Sonya Wilson worked seamlessly with Travelers Insurance to repair damages to our condo quickly and on budget. All were professional and helpful and we are grateful. I was also glad to recommend Spangler to others in our community seeking repair and upgrade to their property.
Thank you
The absolute worst company you could ever go with to complete any work.
They did a great job from start to finish.
The overall work done to get my house back to its original was pretty good.
Work performed by Spangler went very well. Teams that came to provide services were professional, personable and took care with coronavirus protocols. Repairs were accomplished quickly and were well done.
The communication, project management and quality of work were exceptional. Our project manager explained things clearly, and they delivered smoothly. Great experience!
They were very helpful, they were instant in helping. When I called them they came the same day, right away.
I will never refer them to anyone ever.
I thought the contractors were good, but the representatives for Spangler were horrible. It doesn't give the company a good name.
They were very thorogh inspection.
This was a three-week project that turned into a 6-month nightmare. It did not pass inspection the first time. The communication was terrible.
Customer service with project manager was poor at best
The people and the workmanship was good. There was a lack of organization, respect for timelines, and consideration of customers' schedules.
Spangler did a good job with the necessary repair. My only problem was with the billing who kept sending us a bill for something, never did know what it was for, We had paid our deductible and therefore didn't owe anymore money. I finally did receive a check from insurance for the amount that I was being billed, I called the company and Drake Knight came by to pick up the check, everyone lived happily ever after.
While it sounds good to have everything handled by one company, you're also at their mercy in responding to you or keeping to schedules. Total time of work done: Roughly two weeks. Total time spent out of our home: Roughly two and half months. So much of that time, nothing was happening. If you're ever in a situation to have to vacate your home for repairs, it's going to be stressful. Hiring one company to handle everything was meant to ease my stress so I didn't have to stay on top of contractors but with the lack of communication and blocks of time spent with nothing happening, I might reconsider in the future. I will say that they replaced my entire roof when only one section of it was damaged (I have three separate roof lines), so that was nice, however it was a "surprise" so I didn't get to choose a shingle color of my liking, I was stuck with the one that was already on the house (I would have gone darker had I known since I plan on painting the house).
They came in and picked up the pieces and I am very happy with Spangler.
They never indicated the amount for the services rendered before I committed to the job!
Likely to recommend
Worse company I have had the displeasure to deal with. Would not recommend to my worse enemy.
They have always been very quick to respond and they do a great job on the repairs.
Bad experience
They responded quickly and I felt very comfortable with the work they needed to do.
They did a wonderful job!
The entire crew did everything that they could to make sure I was happy with the end result.
The company is very professional and I will use them again.
I loved my project manager Austin, he was easy to talk to. We did have a few problems with the contractors. We still have some things that need services and the damages were done back in May.
Good customer service, quick response, super professional, and a really good company to work with.
Service was almost to my expectation.
The people I worked with at Spangler were all great folks who seemed to know what they were doing but the entire process took WAY too long (over 6 months) and there was a lot of confusion due to (probably unnecessary) changes in who was in charge.
Working with Spangler was a very disappointing and frustrating experience. Poor communication, poor mitigation, poor integrity. I don't trust them. I would not choose to work with them again.
They did a very good job. The only problem we had was with the billing. They had a couple of things that were messed up in the financial office. They were able to get it straightened out.
I was told the entire project would take 2 weeks, it ended up being closer to 4 months. The original PM would never follow up me when the schedule would change
Overall I liked working with them but there were some issues.
Spangler Restoration did great work.
They took too long to complete the work.
We had Spangler Restoration come in and do some quick remediaation work then had another company finish the job. Everything was fine with Spangler Restoration.
We would recommend talking with your insurance agent about replacing fabric furniture vs cleaning as Spangler did not clean soot off. Probably hard to get it all out but they should have examined the furniture for cleanliness before returning! Check your itemized bill from Spangler even with insurance agent before it getting paid. They tried to charge for so many items they did not do. They submitted $12-13,000 bill but by time we eliminated the items they didn’t do it was down closer to $6,000.
They did a great job, very satisfactory.
I felt like things were not done as thorough as possible. I didn't agree with their decisions on how to handle wet carpets.
