I believe they should have better house selections. There are two other houses within the neighborhood with the exact selection as mine.
The house was not properly ready for move in as promised on the first specified closing date. The contractors cut the water line and our grass is not leveled like all the other new built vacant houses that surrounds us. Leak under kitchen was supposed to be fixed at time of closing but 2 weeks in the home it began leaking.
Stoppers in the guest bathroom were not placed properly inside. Also, our grass still has concrete in it.
Yes and no
The master bedroom bathroom has only a shower, no bathtub. The shower head is not mobile, does not move . No faucet , only the immobile shower head. Very inconvenient. I will most likely have to pay someone to come out & at least create a faucet in my shower when I need to run water. Also my stove stops working when I turn on the oven & the portal that they require you to use is not accessible. It’s a bad joke, other than those two things I like the house.
Overall house construction is average not the best in order to recommend
From the first moment to the last it was a pleasant and professional experience
Whoever is buying a house is going to look in the area they want to live in. Nobody is going to buy a house that is made by a specific company. They are going to look for a house in the area they want to live in.
The one issue I have and still have up to this date My blue tapes are still in my house and the things I pointed out in the last walk through was not attended to. My address is 8547 Ora meadows drive Richmond Texas 77469. I will appreciate if they can come around and fix it all. Aside from it every other thing is perfect
It is not an issue of the people selling the home, it is the builder and subcontractors.
The home was built horribly.
I appreciate everyone for going above and beyond to assist me in getting my house.
Though my sales rep Marion was an angel from above, and absolutely amazing, I went two months without a working stove and was given the run around despite submitting a ticket. It was my sales rep for Starlight, Marion whom assisted in expediting the process and it was then that I was assisted. Other than that, absolutely great experience, no complaints and very happy with the care, concern and support from starlight and rep. Still would recommend despite the delay in stove being fixed, all starlight ppl I’ve encountered were kind, responsive, and apologetic, no other complaints and very happy overall.
Purchasing this home was the most easy-going experience for me. My seller Marion Onar was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
The sales representative Dylan Ferris made the whole experience amazing with obviously the home quality/price being just as good.
There’s a lot of issues with the house.
The house creeks and cracks and already it’s embarrassing to have even a house warming, especially with cracks throughout the wall.
Starlight made my dream come true
The entire process went seamlessly.
The staff with Starlight Homes was so welcoming. Everyone was on top of everything which was helpful for me because I work 12-hour shifts and that helps a lot.
Stralight Homes offers good building!
The flexibility and the fact that its first time homeowner centered and the price is even better. Delivery, closing, financing, and the quality walk, you feel left out. I still have blue tape lines and I moved in, in July. My dog got out in a hole in the picket and I pointed that out during the quality walk and I saw the blue tape and saw it on the other side of the retention stick. I could have lost my dog but went back and fixed it with my zap gun. I put my life savings into this house and yes, it's a good quality house but when it comes to delivery and assessment and finishing, no. First time homeowner? check. Price? check. Quality and finish? no.
My questions were answered in a timely manner and I felt comfortable with the whole step by step process.
I am likely to recommend Starlight Homes to a friend because they really worked with me.
There are some maintenance items that they've yet to take care of with me. We just had a storm go through, a hurricane. There are a couple of little items that I was told will not be covered by Starlight homes. I think it's wrong. I've got some minor repairs that need to be done from the hurricane. I didn't care for the attitude of the maintenance director, telling me that that's not Starlight's responsibility. I don't care who's it is. It's a $280,000 home. I think they need to jump in and help out. I've also got a problem at the front door. It doesn't have proper stripping. I can actually see light coming through from the outside to the inside of the door. They were supposed to take care of that. They got to take care of it. They came out here, and they didn't have the materials to finish the job that was poorly handled. Those are the two bits of heartburn I have with them right now. There's a part of my neighbor's fence right next to me that was removed from the hurricane. I think we had tornadoes out here. I think they should pay for that too, as I share that fence with my neighbor. The one section was blown out. I think they need to be more proactive and quit trying to say no, we're not taking care of that. It was a storm that caused it. You know, I don't want to have to call my insurance company and pay a $5000 deductible for something that they should be taking care of. We've only lived here two months, and we have quite an investment in this house. I think they need to be more proactive and supportive. I'm not happy about this.
Our experience was great and the staff was patient and friendly.
I'm not real happy with the workmanship of my new home. There are several things that I found that I feel are low quality.
Julie, our salesperson and everyone in the office, was very helpful and very attentive to our needs throughout the whole process. It was an amazing experience.
The community is great, I love when is quiet, the house is beautiful the process with Starlight is easy secure and faster. Sales rep are very kind and knowledgeable. I do recommend Starlight to anyone who wants to buy a house.
Start to finish it was a nice and easy process!
Would it more if they had gas stoves in them.
The salesperson was so helpful. She did whatever I asked her to do and was always available when I needed to speak with her.
Experience was frustrating overall
Julie and our realtor helped us every step of the way! This was our first time purchasing a home, and we had a longer time frame between submitting our application until close than normal (Our current lease/construction of the home). During that time some things didn’t go as planned or would change on us (Loan program was no longer available that we wanted to use). Julie and Justin helped make this happen for us and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome! Starlight helped us along the way as well, so I would definitely recommend them, especially as first time home buyers!
I like the open concept, the high ceilings, and the mostly brick foundation of my home.
Sales agents either didn't know what a wastewater treatment plant was or were trying to lie about the giant facility behind the home. They were too pushy about trying to get us to go with their lender and pay more for the house than the agreed upon price. The sales agents didn't provide us with information about the community like the HOA and trash set up, we had to get that information from the construction manager, nor were they even present at the time we picked up keys. Several of the smaller blue tape items weren't complete when we did our final walk through and we've had to continuously reach out for things that should have been done prior to our move in.
Your homes are great, but the buying experience was crazy. No one on your team talked to anyone. Your
I have had various issues with the installation of specific systems in the home. The shower sliding glass door and the shower rods not being installed or included. I also had issues with the appliances.
The quality is average if that
Absolutely! The sales team and construction manager are awesome to work with and they truly have a genuine concern for their homeowners.
We moved here to be close to our daughter and grands. We love the house and the management team. We especially have been pleased with Stephanie. She has contacted us several times since we closed to see how things are going and to see if we need anything. She goes above and beyond. Not only is she the project manager or builder, she has become a good friend. She is definitely a plus to your company.
Starlight Homes provided excellent customer service. They were very professional and were always keeping me posted on the process.
Is good new community
Marcus was a big part of my experience.
Starlight Homes has unique and elegant designs. They are very spacious with a lot of natural light, and I think they are very energy efficient as well. The process of the purchase was a very smooth and pleasant experience.
I had not bought a new home in 50 plus years. We sold our home in Florida and moved to the great and very big state of Texas. Of course selling our home , in 4 days, and driving here was a bit stressful but once I arrived everything went smoothly. So yes I am very likely to recommend Starlight Homes to family and friends
Starlight Homes' customer service was excellent.
We have a plumbing leak right now, and it's still not rectified. We have doors that don't shut and air gaps in the front door. The construction manager is fine, but it's the plumber mainly that we're having issues with.
I’d suggest researching more thoroughly. I ended up purchasing because I needed to purchase A home, not because I was in love with this floor plan or this builder. It was just time so I could focus on new job.
The people from Starlight Homes are very friendly.
I had a very easy experience with Starlight Homes in purchasing my home. They were attentive to my needs and concerns.
