They have not met their promises and have not been communicating with us.

Our Master Bathroom is so bright and opened, looks great (wow what a difference from before and after) we were very pleased with project leader Jaun and installation leader Nelson, excellent service, very polite, kind, and explained to us throughout the process. For anyone conidering remodeling their Bathroom, definitely touch base with Statewide Remodeling.
I went with Statewide because I thought it was a reputable company that I wouldn't need to be concerned about fraud or price gouging. I was wrong. After watching the installation and remodeling process I know there is no way my shower cost $25,000. I will never recommend anyone use Statewide Remodeling.
While initially looking at the shower, Shawn had a small handheld device that he said showed moisture. He held it to several sections of my shower which read 20-30% moisture. He held it to his hand and it showed 100%. This was another sign of scamming I should have keyed in on.
I thought my walls would be like the sample I was shown. It was not. My shower wall material is less than 1" thick. The sample I was shown and held in my hands was a heavy 2"-3" material like marble or stone.
Flooring:
During his sales presentation, I asked Shawn about changing the flooring. He said Statewide only offers a limited and higher quality set of samples. He showed me the laminate samples. None of which I liked. He said he would meet me at Home Depot to pick out a different material. Later, when I called him about meeting me at Home Depot he said Statewide didn't do flooring, other than their few samples. He said I would need to have this work done through Home Depot staff. He didn't see the need in meeting me to help choose my flooring materials. The man who came to do the measurements said he didn’t know why Shawn said they didn’t do flooring because they do install flooring.
Shower door:
Sales - Shawn asked me about a straight or curved tension rod for the shower curtain.
Me - I asked about installing a shower door. He stated that doors could be added later by Home Depot or someone else. At this point the price was so high he didn’t want to add to it by adding a glass door. I didn’t disagree. I went with a curved tension rod.
Contractor – came to take additional measurements. He suggested I go with a straight rod otherwise water would come out from the shower to the floor. I changed to a straight rod.
Shower door 2nd request: I asked Marissa about the possibility of getting a shower door installed during the remodel. She said she would check and get back with me.
She said yes the installers could bring standard sliding doors.
I asked about the price. She had to get back with me on a price.
It was $1900. for sliding doors in a frame. Sizing was not discussed. She said I would need to pay at the time of installation because I was on an installment plan. If I wanted custom doors I would need to have another contract which meant another visit from Shawn or other Sales staff.
I told her I would go through Home Depot.
She said the installer would have the doors with him if I changed my mind.
Day of installation Joe asked if I wanted the doors. I said no, the Statewide doors were too expensive. He said he didn’t blame me.
Backerboard:
Sales - The waterproof backerboard used by Statewide is a proprietary material to create a waterproof boundary between the solid surface, Kohler Luxstone, and the studs behind the shower.
Installation - The backboard used was not a proprietary material.
Wall studs:
Sales - Shawn stated that the yellowing and brown on my grout was mold due to the 20-30% moisture between the wall and tile. He said when I cleaned the grout with bleach it was like “giving the mold a haircut.” He said the price included replacing the rotted studs behind the walls. I asked if a percentage would be returned if there was no wood rot to be replaced. He laughed and said no but I wouldn’t be charged more if there was extensive wood rot.
Installation – Leo, the installer, and Joe, the contractor came out on the morning of the installation. They both stated that the browning/yellow on the tile grout was not mold but aging grout. Once the shower area was down to the studs, I asked if the studs were rotted and needed to be replaced. They both said the studs behind the shower looked great, better than most. No remediation is needed.
I have no price break down of materials. When I asked Marissa, my handler, about a detailed invoice, she said that I had "bulk" pricing that would not show a breakdown of materials. Statewide is a fraudulent company that allows salespeople like Shawn Steiner to price gouge the consumer.
I'm reporting Statewide Remodeling - Austin - to the BBB and have consulted an attorney. Shawn was smooth but I should have asked him to leave when he asked me to guess how much the remodel would cost, then laughed at me when I said $10,000.
Pleased with workmanship
The salesman and the installer were very kind and professional. However, the date and time the installer was to be here was changed and the only way we found out was we called Statewide to ask what was going on. We were told some ones should have let us know about the delay
Techs were friendly and consistently asked if i had any question and fixed or explained any issue i had.
The window installers were nice and efficient.
We couldn’t be happier with both the products used and installation of our shower. Your employees are kind, hardworking and very patient when explaining their work.

I was very happy with the results with the job that Statewide did on my walk in shower. The installers were very polite and professional. They also made sure the grab bar was placed where it would work, with my best interest in mind. They did a very nice job on it.
We remodeled a guest bathroom. We took out the tub/shower and replaced with a walk-in shower. Everyone we encountered was very friendly. The commutation from all the staff was above and beyond. The work crew started on a Tuesday and finished on Friday. Each day, I received a text as to the arrival time if the crew was on able to arrive as expected. The project was completed to my satisfaction and it is beautiful. I highly recommend Statewide Remodeling for any projects you may have.

I was very pleased with the final installation and quality of the product. The efficiency and quick turn around was what I needed without compromise in quality. The cost was a little higher than I might have been quoted by a general contractor but it was worth it. This was a zero stress shower remodel!
I would not recommend this company due to the fact that the workers did not have the correct tools for the job, broken tools showed that the workers were not properly prepared to do the job correctly.
The whole team was professional, courteous, friendly. They answered any questions I had about the installation process, and they completed the project in a timely fashion!

Statewide Remodeling did a wonderful job. It was a wonderful experience installing the windows. The crew did it professionally, quickly, and promptly. They even caulked my AC's when they put those in. They didn't have to do that, but they did. Furthermore, they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable with my new windows.
Easy and quick way to get a professional bath remodel with no headaches or mess! Truly a professional group of folks with excellent customer service!

This is the second time we have used Statewide. They have now replaced/upgraded every window in our house, and we could not be happier with every aspect of both transactions. They use quality materials, are honest in their sales presentations, and are prompt and efficient in their installations. Their installers are friendly, clean, well-spoken and considerate. Their administrative staff kept us appraised of projected and actual delivery dates and times, and their follow-ups were second to none.

2nd time I've used Statewide, once for a bathroom remodel and this time for a new French Door. Both times, the crew was prompt, courteous, knew what they were doing, and did an excellent job. I know I could beat the price, but why risk all of the good stuff that goes with a Statewide job.
Let me start off by saying in the end Statewide made it right. Way to many things went wrong from start to finish. This project took 2 weeks not 3 days.
The product seems OK but one of my clients got better looking overall results with a different company.

Michael was very nice, thorough, helped me plan and make decisions.
Leo and son Victor did excellent job of this huge process and it all was perfect! Victor constantly cleaned up as Leo broke up the tub. Really such a huge amount of work, I could hardly believe it. Really amazing.
But the shower head did not have two water speeds as ordered. I do not like a ton of hard water, and when I switched it to less water, it did not change.
Ken had been here after the first and second stages. When he came for the last checking, I showed him the shower head did not change. He called Leo and Victor found the piece. Ken picked it up and put it in. Perfect! He was a great supervisor and made sure I was happy with every stage of the job.
All of these men were on top of everything, serious workers, and very cordial, too. Super nice.
The pop-up seat did not make it to the work sheet, so Ken is going to find me a little bench. I think the bench will actually work better because I can move it closer to the water when I do a pedicure, so that has turned out to be good, too.
All in all, a wonderful experience. All of the people involved were most impressive. Amazed it was all done in one day.
And it was a great day! Wish I had done it ten years ago.

In and out in one day. Three man crew got here at 9 am. They laid down tarps on floor (carpet and tile) and got busy with demo and clean up and had us look at results. Then they began to build back the new shower plumbing, flooring and then the walls. The project leader kept us informed on the stages of construction. Checked with us on location of grab bars etc. Asked if they could work past 5pm and finish in one day? We said of course! A couple of hours later they were cleaning up. Demonstrated how to work everything and had us use the controls. We went over their check list, signed off on paperwork and wrote check. Asked if we had any questions for them and gave their phone number to call if we had any questions or problems to please call.
A great team to work with !!!

From start to finish everyone was professional and courteous. In-home sales or when I had to call on the phone. Communication about when materials would be in and possible time for installation. Good communication there.
I have been telling ppl about it now and showing pictures I will definitely recommend statewide remodeling to a friends

7 Windows were installed in November 23. Had a couple of small issues that were taken care of. Had the 4 Windows left that were done last of September. A different issue arose that I didn't notice until the job was completed. But my wife did, but the other ones were inside caulk was clear and the others were white caulked on the inside. And the second crew took 2 of my screens and haven't heard what I will get them back!
