My project, in the scheme of things, was a very small undertaking compared to their other endeavors, but no one there gave the impression it was small potatoes. My $15000 job got the same degree of personal attention as their other work. Moreover, when Lynn, the design consultant, came to the house she recommended that I not replace a counter top in good condition just for the sake of change. Lynn helped me to recognize that there's merit in not putting materials into a home that doesn't need that yet. Maybe sometime. I also appreciated that Chris Stebnitz took the time to give me a tour of their home office and that everyone he introduced me to seemed genuinely pleased to be a part of their team. There was a very positive energy in the place. I'm all about finding sources of positive energy in life and I'd recommend anyone else to head there too. The flooring and kitchen work turned out just as I hoped, with little to no effort on my part...another key to a good life. I'm grateful! Cathy M.

Our planning and construction experience was favorable. I could not recommend Stebnitz to a friend with a simple remodeling project and/or someone operating on a limited budget. I would use Stebnitz again, but would deal up-front with some of the issues discussed in the critique at paragraph 15, below.

The work was done in a timely manner. It was professionally done with attention to detail. Even before the project ( a new bay window) began, they were great about providing information as to exactly what I Wanted. The workers were friendly and welcomed questions from me as the project progressed, I was impressed at How well the workers worked together. Again very professional.

Additional Comments - The Stebnitz team was truly committed to listening to my needs throughout my kitchen remodeling project. Everyone, including the subcontractors, were very professional and congenial. I appreciate the advice of Barney, whom I met with initially and also the expertise of Denny, the lead carpenter along with his talented apprentice, Grant. The carpenters did a superb job and also were very good about daily cleanup. Special thanks to Ryan, the project manager who patiently guided me through the process and was able to have the project completed on time. A kitchen remodeling project can be an overwhelming experience but the Stebnitz team provided me with the type of service that was very helpful and reassuring. I am very pleased with the end result.

They were wonderful people that did quality work but they had some scheduling problems.

They did a beautiful job. We have a beautiful house. They could have done a better job with organization. They also could have done a better job getting the job done on time and within budget. I realize we did a remodel and it's an old house with lots of problems. The bottom line is that it's a beautiful home and it turned out very nice.

This project was an addition to an older home. The design was reviewed carefully and modified to meet our needs. The design approach presented me with options that I could add or omit based on cost. This helped me clearly understand the cost and what I could afford to include within my cost budget. The construction was delayed because of winter weather, but I was kept informed almost daily as to what will happen that week and if a delay occurred I was immediately informed. The job supervisor was excellent and all work was completed as bid within the cost estimate.

Stebnitz's designers and workmen turned our unfinished basement into a great family room, bedroom and bathroom.
