I would recommend Sun Coast because they listened to my requests. I would say they got the roof replaced quickly because everyone showed up exactly on time. I was amazed at how nice my roof looked when they finished. Very professional 5 Stars!!!!!

There are just a few items that are still unfinished. The gutter leaks and on the edge of the roof there is some exposed tape that makes it look unappealing. There are just some small items that need to be completed. They are really busy. However, since I paid top dollar for this, I can't give a 5-star rating until they get the job completed.

I hired Sun Coast to not only reroof but to repair any termite and wood rot. After clearing all old shingles, we discovered massive damage caused mostly by poor installation of solar panels. There were a lot of rotted rafter tails and fascia boards. In just one week, Edgar and his crew came in and completely replaced the old roof with a brand new one that will last me forever.

Final product is nice but getting there was a journey. Also don't like the sales tactics where they quote you a rediculous figure but knock it down to what is still a well above average cost if you commit that very same day.

Working with Sun Coast Remodelers Updating my roof was Excellent from the start. From Brandon the project manager down to the Whole crew, they were Kind, Respectful and Professional! Sun Coast workers are Quality Men doing quality work with quality Materials. I was so impressed to see Edger(Forman) and his crews from Hugo, Luis, Marco, Carlos, Juan and all the other mens names I didn’t catch, proved to to be such conscientious, hard workers that worked so smartly, safely, quickly and effectively! Overall, I think the my new roof has met my expectations. The installation work was done quickly and the aesthetics of the roof is pleasing. The addition of cooling vents was a big plus. I had some starter boards replaced which was extra cost, just be informed that the home owner is responsible for painting those, however, the boards have been primed. I had solar installed on my roof beforehand, and the re-installation of the solar panels was done within a week of the the roof install with no problems when the panels were turned on. Since Sun Coast removed and reinstalled the panels, the warranty of the roof is not affected and the work is seamless. I feel very confident that this roof will handle the upcoming wet weather this winter.

Everything went fine. My only heartburn was that it was a little more expensive and on the pricey side. They did do a good job and the roof turned out great. I have no complaints about the quality.

I think the company is on the up and up. They worked very hard in extreme heat, tearing the old roof off and putting the new roof on. They were impressive. I gave them ice water and Gatorade because I was worried about the heat. They were very good people.

I did not look over my contract well enough. I thought they would be water proofing my house. They only did part of my roof. My roof originally had a bell on it because it was a church. They roofed the bell tower, but did not waterproof the bell tower. It was leaking into my living room. I asked them why they did not water proof it, but their answer was that it was not in the contract. The contract said that they would do the bell tower, but not the inside of the bell tower. Edgar told me where the problem was, but he did not fix it. I liked Edgar, but I am not going to argue about a contract. I think for the price I paid, they should have water proofed it. If I was the contractor on the roof, I would have fixed it to make the customer happy.

The workers were very competent and well-chosen. They worked well together.
