Todd was excellent to work with. His crew that worked on our house though, could use some tuning up. Maybe we are too much perfectionists, but we expect it.
Superior Exteriors was great to work with. The whole team was pleasant and made sure we were satisfied with everything at each step in the process. They also helped with the overall design and our house turned out great.
They did very fine work and cleaned up their mess well. The work was completed as scheduled.
Work was done well and timely. The crews were respectful and worked well together.
I would recommend Superior Exterior to any individual who stops by to visit.
They did okay for an okay price, but they dropped the ball repeatedly in communication when getting started. Also, the installers made repeated mistakes that I had to catch during the installation.
Service after the sale is nearly non-existent.
They make a lot of promises, but they disappear once paid. They don't return to fix problems.
I am definitely likely to recommend Superior Exteriors to a friend.
I think that the product is excellent! The workmanship on the siding itself is what doesn't suit me. Travis' workmanship was impeccable.
James Hardie reviewed their work and verified it does not meet their installation requirements which voids warranties. Superior Exteriors also did thousands of dollars of damage to my home during installation. Bids are still coming in but it will likely be $15,000-$25,000 to re-replace much of the brand new siding plus damages. I had to fire them after recieving nothing but lies and excuses from the VP of the company.
Nick and Superior Exteriors were outstanding in making sure I got exactly what I was looking for.
They were really good. They came on a Wednesday and were done on Friday. They were quick. They sided my whole house. Before, we walked around and discussed what I wanted to be done. They made it happen and I was pleased.
This was so exciting. My neighbors and I are impressed. Everyone can see that the quality is really good.
We have received many positive comments from neighbors and have been asked several times what company we used!
The crew was awesome! Would highly recommend!
I was drawn to the James Hardie cement siding product from its reputation of a quality product. When I needed to reside my house I looked to the James Hardie website for a recommended installer and I chose Superior Exteriors because of their Elite Preferred Contractors status. I believed they would have the most experience and knowledge installing Hardie board on my house. The salesman was very pleasant and worked hard to answer all my question and he gave me clear and detailed quote. After the product was being installed on the house it was brought to my attention their installation technique was not in accordance to the James Hardie specification (this information can be accessed from the Hardie website if you are interested). When I talked to the company's VP (also the person who gave the installation crew details on how he wanted the product installed) he stated that the technique was allowed and assured me their alternate installation method was okayed and would be covered by the Hardie warranty. I double checked his claim by calling the James Hardie customer service desk and talked to their representative and explained the situation and the alternate insulation technique. The customer representative made it very clearer the James Hardie warranty is only good if the product is installed per there installation specification. The product is only as good as the installation. At this point the project was a quarter completed and I was not sure what to do besides just have them complete the project, as they had been, using the alternative installation technique. I hope I don't regret that decision. On positive note the independently contracted installation crew worked in a professional and clean manor. They left the job site picked up and as clean as possible at the end of each work day. The completed house looks nice and neat. And I am very pleased with the look of it. I am just concerned about the quality of the installation. When I told Superior Exteriors about the about the warranty issues from the manufacture due to installation Superior Exteriors did offer to extend their installation warranty, hopefully they are in business if I need their help 15 to 30 years. My house is a 1980s Tudor style with 4x8 panels with 2x6 batten boards to achieve an exposed timber frame look. My house also has continuous insulation and because of it that you can only nail in the framing members not in the sheathing because it’s wrapped in 1inch foam. The errors in the installation that were made are as follows. 1) 1/4-inch clearance was not met were the siding touched the Z flashing at the bottom of a panel. 2) 2-inch clearance was not not met were the siding meets the roof shingles. 3) The edge of the panels is not nailed in, as the technique did not allow the edges to end at a nail able surface, so they had to rely on caulk to fasten and seal them to the the adjacent batten strips. Also, the panels do not extend under the baton strips they stop at edge of the batten strip and are only a butt joint.
They did a professional job and did what they said they would in a timely manner.
These folks were awesome to work with and we are so happy! We would definitely not only recommend them but use them again as well! Nate, our project manager really kept on top of everything and the crew worked during some really hot conditions, but still we always kind and courteous!
Superior Exteriors replaced some of our siding, painted our house and trim, and put on new gutters. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the job site during demo, which is important to us because we have young children who like to run barefoot, friendly crews who tolerated 50 questions from our kids every day, and their ability to paint the house with very minimal damage to our landscaping (there was maybe one leaf torn; we're super impressed!). We love the way our house looks now, and we're excited to have the final project (new windows) completed soon. We would recommend Superior Exteriors to a friend, and will use their services in the future when we are ready to replace sliding doors, or if we have any other need for siding repair.
Nick is the salesman and the representative that I dealt with. He was courteous, kind, and I felt we got a good deal. He treated me good. The crew was courteous and did a good job. We still have a few things to get taken care of, after the stonework is finished. Nick is on top of it. You couldn't ask for a better crew as far as I'm concerned.
We researched a number of contractors for our Hardie Plank siding project. We ultimately chose Superior Exteriors for their professionalism, integrity, and design recommendations.
Great job!
Great Experience!
I was very happy with the job that they did.
