The crew worked tirelessly. They arrived at around 7 am, and worked tirelessly except for a brief lunch break. We were amazed at how quickly, and how well the roof was done. The entire project was done in one day. The crew was large enough to do this. We are very pleased.

I did a lot of research and got several quotes before purchasing my roof from Sweeney’s Reliable Roofing. I also researched the manufacturers websites to understand the products and warranty. Owens Corning was rated the best by Consumer Reports so I decided on Owens Corning. Sweeney’s was upfront and honest about the warranty and used all Owens Corning Products (other contractors were not quoting Owens Corning underlayment therefore you cannot qualify for the full warranty.) Within the hour of me requesting a quote online, I was contacted by Sweeney to set up a time to review my project. Sean met with me and answered all my questions honestly. His quote was detailed and clearly noted the products I was receiving. His crew was efficient, timely and they cleaned up impeccably. Within a day of install, he registered my roof for the full warranty and I received the Owens Corning documents of Warranty. Working with them was seamless. It’s good to know honest, fair and hardworking contractors still exist. I was so happy with the work, I’ve asked them to take a look at other properties I own.

Work as promised, quality job, good price; Sweeney responsive - easy to work with. Mine was a large job involving roof changes, additional ice shield, chimney flashing and new shed roof - work exactly as specified at agreed to price.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!! Sean was supposed to do our roof replacement on 11/5/21. Called and needed to change the date to 11/10/21 starting at 7 am, which I agreed to. I spoke to him on the 8th to confirm, he did but wanted to figure out how he was going to do the job. We were replacing our skylights along with the roof. He was supposed to call me on the 9th with that information, he never did. I assumed we would discuss that when he showed up on the 10th. 7 am came and went, 7:30 came and went, 8:00 came and went, I called the office at 8:30 and spoke to his wife. I was told he would call me and he had sent me an email: "Phones not working out here in Fleetwood but wanted to shoot you an email. The more I think about it, I do not feel comfortable starting the job with the rain coming Thursday night into Friday. Even if we do it in sections, there’s still the possibility my guy won’t be able to finish around the chimney by the end of the day Thursday and I do not want to take that chance. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I tried numerous phone calls with no return call. I sent him this email on 11/12/21:

"Sean,
Since it seems this is your preferable means of communication I will try this.
I waited until 8:30 on Wed to call you because you didn't show up for my roof. Lori told me you had sent me an email. I do not read my emails everyday so I never got it. There was no mention in the email about when you would be rescheduling the install. I ask her about that and was told she or you would call me about that. I have received no phone call. It took all weekend prior to the proposed start date to prepare our house for the work. Every room there is a skylight in, furniture had to he moved and the floor covered. Plus ladders and scaffolding brought in so I can do the interior work after new skylights were installed. Now I am sitting here with my house in complete disarray and Thanksgiving is in two weeks. A return phone call should have been made, so I know what is going on. "

I have not gotten any response. If you can't trust him to get to the job, how can you trust his workmanship or labor his warranty if you have a problem. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

This was the first time I ever had to buy a new roof on a house, and wasn't sure what I was getting into. Dealing with Sweeneys Reliable Roofing was a pleasure. Their product lineup of Owens Corning shingles and other products was top notch, the price competitive, and Sean and Laura were easy to deal with. The ability to purchase the OC Platinum Warranty was important to me, it has 25 and 50 year terms guaranteed by Owens Corning, it doesn't get better than that. I had quite a few questions about everything from the warranty to different products, and they answered them all. Patrick Sweeney also answered all questions I had on gutters. And they left the place like it was before they started. I highly recommend Sweeneys Reliable Roofing and Owens Corning products to anyone who needs a roof.

Best price for a 50-yr roof out of 5 different companies offering all types of shingle brands. 10yr workmanship/labor warranty was double what most roofers offer. Sean Sweeney was on-time, on budget, good communicator with no surprises. Answered all my questions and worked closely with me through the process to ensure I was comfortable. HIGHLY recommended.

My roof was replaced in half a day, the area was cleared of debris and nails prior to them leaving. I was very impressed with the quality of work.
