The whole process was started in June, we're still limping through the process and it will be Aoril next week. We were working with a guy who lied, mislead and failed to follow through on anything. I'm waiting on a third repair crew to cone out from workmanship issues I've noticed..

They did a great job, assisted quite a bit getting everything cleared through insurance, and made things go as smoothly as possible.

Their work was professional, clean up was great, scheduling was easy.

Our roof was damaged by a hail storm. We were out walking one day after the storm and met Joe R. as he was calling on customers. We went through the whole process of site review, estimate, and then the looooong process of working with our insurance.

This is where Lexi L came to play - Lexi is an absolute BEAST when it comes to getting insurance to pay what the contract requires. We finally negotiated an agreeable settlement with our homeowner's insurance carrier, and work began 05/05/2024.

Three days later (after watching the Bledi and the crew work their magic) we had a new roof, gutters, and downspouts. Absolutely would recommend Tacheny!

They did good work and were responsive.

Roof replacement was slow, missing a season which cost us increased insurance for that year. Ended up replacing skylights when they weren't damaged by the hail - initially told that only the cladding would need to be replaced, then later told that unless both were fully replaced, warranty would not cover. Since we had partial roof replacement coverage, this cost us more.

They were very nice to work with, did good work and always got back to me quickly if I had any questions. I had them years ago for a roof and they did good work then. That is why I hired them again for this roof.

Middle of job added cost. Didn't respond to inquiries. Threat of legal action when questioned. I would tell friends and acquaintances to avoid Tacheny.

This was the most frustrating process I have ever had with workmanship. The person at the Tacheny office kept changing and it seemed like starting from square one over and over again. I felt like I was foreman on the project due to lack of communication between supervisors and workman.

This company is GREAT to work with! They go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied 100%. The workmanship is outstanding and their employees are super attentive, kind and experts in their field. I have recommended several people to them and will continue to do so. Loved working with Tachney Exteriors for our roof. From start to finish, it was painless and stress free. Working with Riley was a dream! The nicest young man, personable, knowledgeable, on time, he took care of everything and kept us informed throughout the whole process. We never met Riley before but now we know we have met a good friend!! Highly recommend this young man and Tachney Exteriors!

The roof was installed properly but for finishes and their customer services, Tacheny completely lacks any professionalism. It is unfortunate since they are known for their customer service and workmanship. The roof did not have that many issues other than leaking by the chimney but that was due to poor caulking on Tachney's part which was confirmed by one of the crew members. I did have my soffit, fascia, and gutters installed by Tachney as well which is where most of my issues arose with the company but I still feel that it is important to let others know my whole experience and if I could do this again I would not hire Tachney.

The work I had done, the roof,soffit, fascia, gutters and downspouts were all done efficiently and clean up was great! They took care of everything with my insurance company. I would recommend Tacheny for your exterior work.

The fact that you took a YEAR to complete my roof. And I had to fight with my insurance company in vain to get flashing put on...(insurance said they could carefully remove the flashing and put the old flashing back on.). Flashing apparently wasn't initially put on the cost of repair!
Then I paid $4500.00 which you held for a year...(would I get interest on that money taken off the bill?) I received an Emil from Tachney to my insurance company asking to release funds...then two weeks later I get a notification that my bill was OVERDUE...umm I was NEVER notified of a bill until recently. The fact that I never received an Initial bill then get a notification of being late pisses me off to no end. Would I recommend this company again? Nope...no way...I realize that material and weather were a factor..but overall while satisfied with the job they did replacing the roof...all the other aspects of the transaction were sadly lacking in my view.
I didn't think I had to fight with my insurance company to get it done. While my rep from Tachney did try...the other problems were hard to take. And having to wait a year was quite frustrating..so no I wouldn't recommend your company..

Thought local company would treat us best but was soooo wrong

Tacheny Exteriors has been around in the construction business for about a 100 years throughout generations. They do quality work that I am happy with. They will make sure that it is done to the customer's satisfaction even if they have to come back several times.

Everything was done to my satisfaction

The roofing crew was terrific.

The roofers were a clown group who didn't seem to know what they were doing. They had to come back 3 times. The first day 4 of them stood around while one person did most of the work. Should have only taken 1 day with a good crew.

The actual roofing job was fine. But it took many weeks longer than the salesman promised before they even started, because they take on more jobs than they can handle. They worked with my insurance company, which was nice, but their final bill was incorrect, charging for gutters that were done by another company. Despite multiple messages, they still haven't corrected it.

I'm happy with everything Tacheny Exteriors did.

I have used Tachney a couple times for storms that occurs. My neighbors use them and they do a good job.

I am happy with the work and the management. Everything was handled professionally.

There was too much of a gap with the old boards. Tacheny went back to my insurance and was given the O/Kto put on a 1/2 inch chip board over old roof.

The workmanship was excellent. It could have been accomplished in a sooner time frame. Due to initial difficulties our project got a very late start. To be fair there were other issues occurring at the time which had nothing to do with the project or Tacheny Exteriors.

They did an amazing job!

Not enough supervision of the crew. Agreed upon ventilation improvements were bypassed. Communication between homeowner, supervisor and crew was difficult, causing the work to spread out over 6 days

She was friendly, open, honest, and not pushy which was so appreciated! The crew who did the windows was fantastic as well and took the time to give me details on any updates and how it was going.
