I conducted all of my roofing needs with Austin Miller out of the Jacksonville FL office for a rental property. He was amazing. Answered all my questions, always got back to me in a timely manner, was very knowledgable. Was extremely helpful with helping me deal with all my insurance companies requests for more photos and explanations. My tenants reported to me the workers were very neat and the roof was completed on time.

The leak and gutters had to be fixed multiple times. I still have concerns about the corners that have not been fixed, even though they have sent someone out. The guy came and fixed most of the shingles that were up, but there are still some that were not fixed. The people who did the gutters were unprofessional. They came 4–5 times, and it wasn't until the final group came that it fixed them. They removed the shingles and screen for the gutters. Maybe it was a bad day and things happened.

Overall our experience with Tadlock Roofing was a good one. The workers showed up early and worked all day. Before leaving they cleaned up anything that had fallen in our yard. They were professional and worked diligently. Despite the size of our roof it was installed in three days.

There was really no initial follow-up after the job was completed. I didn't hear from anyone to ask if I was satisfied or if I needed anything. It was like here is the bill, thanks.

Steve was WHY I chose Tadlock over THREE other Roofers! He sold Tadlock to me and made me feel that of all the Roofing companies in Jacksonville, Tadlock was the right one to chose! Unfortunately, shortly after I made my decision to accept Tadlock as my roofer, he is no longer with the company. I was then dealing solely with MIchael R. Tadlock talks a great story initially but once you sign the dotted line to have the work done, they do not see it through as promised. I would have loved to have seen Mike R. more from start to finish. He was available mainly through text and email. We were promised that he would be there at the start of the job (he was not). We were also told that he would be there at the finish of the job for the final inspection (he was not). Therefore it was solely left up to the project manager who was supposedly RIGT on my property during the process and I never met such person and I was home 99% of the 48 hours of the process. If he was there, he never made himself known. He never introduced himself either. That's is not very professional. One of the things I made mention of before accepting the contract was that I wanted my outdoor plants well protected and not harmed. Mike even wrote that on my contract. However, MANY of my amaryllis were damaged. Food & trash were left on my property as well. Once I bought it to Tadlock's attention, it was cleaned up but if there was a project manager there, it should not have been left there at all. Very disappointed about that. While Mike R. tried to make it right at the end, amaryllis are seasonal and hard to find out of season so to this day, they have STILL not been replaced by my purchasing new ones. While the roof looks good (after reminding them to come back and paint the chimney), it was just a process that did not/should not have been such a headache to the property owners.

Areas Of Satisfaction - It was a one day deal. You don't have roofers banging on the roof for a whole week. It was a one and done as they brought in enough workers to be able to finish it in one day. We had to wait on the gutters, but that's ok. That was not a big deal.

Additional Comments - I will sing Tadlock's praises because we were so impressed with how quickly it happened and how it all came together. They accommodated us as I did not want the roof put on until 2022. They wanted to do it in December and I asked that they push it out to the new year because in 15 years, that one year is going to make a difference. Tadlock Roofing were very accommodating with that, and I think we did get a quality product. We did not go with the cheapest option, as we value our home. This just isn't a 6 month rental for us. This is our full-time home, and we wanted to invest in a good product, and I think we did. Thank you for that.
