We used Siding King to replace our 32-yr-old vinyl siding with Hardie Plank on the recommendation of a neighbor. We are very pleased with the results. The appearance of our home is much improved and will require very little maintenance going forward. We would recommend the company and the product.

Siding King was extraordinary from bidding the job through to completion. Their Hardie installation team was meticulous. They take pride in their work. Unlike another company they were honest about the condition of our roof. We don't need a new roof now, but we will contact Siding King when it is needed. The Siding King did a great job replacing our tired, old cedar siding with beautiful James Hardie siding. The crew was very professional and experienced with Hardie installation. We have a large old house with some tricky angles, but happily, our confidence was justified. We can tell the house has become more energy efficient too; we've had to adjust all our thermostats. But the best part is the huge transformation in curb appeal; our house looks gorgeous! We couldn't be happier!

I had many specific requirements and all were met, i.e., careful trimming of the old caulk during the demolition to minimize the repainting of windows, saving of specific trim while replacing most other trim, mounting 18 prepainted Hardie boards on the high-end of the house to minimize painting time on a 32 ft ladder, delivering the material early so I would have time to prepaint, etc. Speaking of materials, they sent all the materials they needed, from various trim boards to rubber seal tape; no shortages. The demolition and clean-up was carefully done. The house wrapping and window taping/sealing was done carefully and tightly. I was generally home during all work and regularly reviewed the progress. The siding installers installed a very nice, tightly fitted bath vent block that I wasn't expecting. All of my special requirements were met and they added improvements I wasn't expecting like the fan block, window flashing, improved the edge trim look by using two boards, special cut boards spanning a window were always one piece, etc. Also, we were only siding three sides of our house. The fourth side, the chimney, had been converted to Hardie board in 2004. This required careful matching of the "reveal", not affecting certain trim boards, etc. The project was completed one day early. The final clean-up was thorough. I believe we had about 1,000 sq ft of Masonite siding which took from Sat to Thu to remove and replace w/ Hardie board. Also, their dumpster supplier was very professional and careful. I would be glad to be a reference for Siding King.
