The quality of the work was poor. I have pictures of walls that are crooked with paint all over the floors. The job was a sloppy mess. The concrete work was terrible, and if I had known that the quality of the work wasn't going to be acceptable, I wouldn't have used them.

While everything was explained in general,the push is to get you to sign the contract. We were told all we needed was a 10 % investment,this is very misleading. We met our 10% in our land thinking we were good. Months after signing the contract we were told we had to re qualify to begin construction due to the price of the house now being included. This needs to be emphasized throughout the process leading up to and after the contract. Had we been told the day we signed we could have planned and paid up to this amount over time instead of having to pay a large lump sum and lose money in the process.

It was a very drawn out process. We thought it as going to be no longer than nine months. We were looking at years before it was completed.

Arden has been the most helpful and transparent about pricing to help us reach our goals and know what we are spending ahead of time vs after the fact.

Arden did an excellent job contacting me and keeping me updated on information. I also had her check pricing on many different options and she was always helpful.

We recently had a home constructed by Tilson Homes. The overall experience was satisfactory. We chose Tilson Homes because they offer semi-customized homes, as well as avoiding the need to obtain a construction loan. We worked with them to modify the floor plan to our specifications.

The sales staff is so helpful in guiding through the process without any pressure. They’re so patient and helped with all options and explanations.

Picking out designs and features was really straightforward.

We chose Tilson after following their social accounts and videos for well over a year. They speak of the Tilson quality standards highly, but we are constantly finding shortcuts and sloppy work in our build that has to be addressed. While most issues are corrected, completing areas correctly the first time would most likely save time and money. However, overall we are still happy with the progress.
