The shingles have a fair amount of granulate scrubbed off in various areas of the roof. I feel this is due to the installers being in too much of a hurry. The joint between the house wall and the garage roof had improper nail down of the flashing in a number of areas which caused the flashing to hold the shingles up so they could not seal down. TCS did return and address the flashing issue. I also mentioned the granulate loss and they cut in some replacement shingles, but their inspection was limited to a very small area of the main roof, so the roof still has areas where the granulate is damaged on some shingles. The lower edges of a number of shingles are not clean across the edge, but instead have granulate damage. I'm not at pleased that I spent $12K for a new roof and am getting a repaired roof. That's just not right. Bad business in my opinion. On a positive note the crew manager has been very good about trying to address my concerns, but the fact remains that I've got a damaged roof..I placed a call to TCS for the business manager to call me back a week ago to set a date and time for he and I to walk the roof together to determine a game plan, and have had no response. Again, this is just not right.
The crew did a great job !
My neighbor is now going to use TCS to put his roof on his house. He said as picky as I am and I thought they did a great job, he said they must be good.
They are reasonably priced, very organized, and completed the job quickly.
Great company. From the first contact, we received prompt responses - a quick bid - a great price - diligent responses from the owner.
The roofing job itself was a sight to watch. We have a steep roof with many angles. A crew of 12 men plus a project supervisor appeared at 7AM on the first day and worked until dusk. They finished the entire job by early afternoon the next day.
The roof looks amazing, the yard was meticulously cleaned up and the entire process (inquiry call to completion of job) took only a few weeks.
This is a great company. We highly recommend them to anyone considering a new roof. One of the best run businesses we have ever run across.
Thank you Troy and company. We are so glad we called you for this job.
When a construction company comes onto my property, I would have hope that they would leave the property at least as good, if not better than when they entered it. I could see from the ground after they left the rafters into my attic. My attic area was left wide-open. I know I’ve had a bat into my home. My gutter brackets and my gutter covers were destroyed. I am now waiting, because I have a shingle loose in the valley of my roof for the company to come and find out where the shingle came from and remove it from the valley.
