I’ve been a long time customer but my most recent experience has me reconsidering. The service call was to remove the drinking water dispenser at the kitchen sink and replace filtering media in the while house treatment system.
We have a water softener. We have had very few problems with it. My issues have been with customer service.

Have actually recommended it to a ton of customers when we are called in for Plumbing issues.
I find that Tri-State does good work. However, they do contract service for Rain-Soft company which I have found is untrustworthy.
It is expensive, but we are on well water and needed it

Tri-state always takes care of our needs and I highly recommend them.
In my opinion, the don’t care about their customers and will just do anything to get them to sign up and after that you’re on your own.
The service guy was out of this world, very informative and answered all my questions and even went out of his way to clean the water softener totally out, since I felt it had a odor…
Cleaned up after himself and even filled the softener with all new salt (carried down stairs) which saved our backs…Thank you!!!
Service from the technician was outstanding. I was surprised how much the annual service on our whole house generator went up in price. It was quite a increase.
I have had no issues that were not addressed. However, the system is not performing how I thought and was told it would be. Time will be an indication if this moves up to 4 or 5 stars.

You keep trying to replace my reverse osmosis filter you sold me on my water filtration system that I’ve complained about has not been working since the day you installed it, and all you ever say is “sorry to here that I can have my tech check it out and replace the filter for $300”… why would I pay again for something that never worked in the first place!

I'd give 5 stares for the sales people and the installers that came to our house and would only recommend your company for them. However, your billing and finance company...nope. They kill that with their unprofessional behaviour.
Overly expensive for the service.
Does not do what was advertised. Get filter replacement calls 3 months before filter change is due.
Our generator has saved us numerous times during outages. Well worth the cost.
Normally everything runs smoothly but Tri-State doesn’t want to assume any responsibility when their servicemen make a mistake.
I hadn’t had my $8,000 system very long and my house burned down. The system was destroyed. I am still having to pay for that system, even though I don’t have a replacement. So, we’re having to pay for something I don’t have. My homeowners insurance did not cover that system. Honestly, I really thought the company would give us a replacement system and we would just keep paying. We cannot afford to replace the system ourselves. Because we used the system for a short time and that was the best tasting water! I don’t want to blame this on Tri-State Water, Power & Air, but they were who we purchased from and failure to replace the system unless we paid for a new one was such a disappointment in customer service. I’m just a number.
The installation team was phenomenal. From answering all of my questions to being some of the most polite individuals that I have ever met in the service industry, the entire team made me feel like I was their only job for the day! It has been the ultimate in satisfaction since my first phone call to say..."I am interested in a whole home generator." Keep up the great work!
We are $6000 in and have had 2 visits and our water is still not fixed. The 3rd technician is scheduled to come out this Wednesday. Hopefully the 3rd time is a charm?

Have to call over and over it’s always a problem with this generation from not starting on its weekly test till not starting during an outage
Had to put a starter on this thing was not even a year old. They say it’s the gas got a new meter put and and regulator. Now they saying the code is a software issue the same code as before when the software was so called updated. Problem after problem with this thing
Pretty spending after learning about more DIY options, however the warranty aspect is nice. Installer was excellent and thoughtful with the design of plumbing.

In good conscience, I can't recommend anyone to spend this much money for a water system that can be acquired for much less. I failed to do my due diligience and be financially responsible, high pressure sales techniques are my nemisis!

No I am not. When we purchased the system the man never told us it would be so expensive each year for the service maintenance calls.
Even though I have a maintenance agreement, I have to call to get my yearly maintenance set up. :-( And I seem to be late calling, but you all still come under the agreement. This time I got a survey, which is what reminded me to call. . . .

So far so good. There are two reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 at this point in time. The first is that the price is higher than others, sometimes by a significant margin. I can accept that provided the service after sale is exemplary. Since I don't have any history to base service on, I can't honestly say 5 stars... yet.
Products are wonderful. I laughed when the salesman told me my points for product would last 10 years. I am at 12 years and till have months of soaps.
We have recommended this product to everyone we know!
