Project involved replacing the damaged vinyl siding on one side of my home. Vinyl siding was replaced with a higher quality product (James Hardie Siding) which will not melt. Due to heat from summer sun on this side of my home, final coat of paint was applied in the fall. Unicorp Home Energy management and supervisory staff are superior in every respect and provide homeowners with an excellent product at a very reasonable cost, employing skilled contractors whose work is exceptional.

Unicorp did windows replacement for us. They work in a professional and organized way throughout the process. The sales representative creatively looked up our house on Redfin or other MLS website to present an accurate quote for us. They installed 15 windows in one day, and kept our rooms (floors, walls, etc.) clean. The crew are easy to work with. The installation was in November, but because of the way they organize the installation process, our house did not get as cold as we initially thought. Highly recommend.

From the inception of the project I was very pleased with the professionalism demonstrated by Unicorp. I was also extremely happy with the workmanship, and the responses to my needs. Unicorp was very eager to do what was necessary, and to make the job a 100% successful siding installation.

Unicorp Home Energy Services did an awesome job installing Hardy siding on my house. Everything seemed fine, until the crew showed up to install the rain gutters. The crew did very poor job installing the gutters. There are places where the gutters are visibly bent or crooked (not by design). I made a mistake of purchasing gutter guards from Unicorp. I do not recommend this option for anyone. The gutter guards used by Unicorp have a huge design flaw. The holes of the many other gutter guard brands are oval like and wide enough to allow proper water flow. The gutter guards used by Unicorp, however, have small round holes. Those small holes work well with light rain, but heavier rain causes the water to overflow, which makes the whole gutter system somewhat useless.

Unicorp is an outstanding business. We have an unusual exterior configuration, due to a large addition and different roof lines. They analyzed how best to clad the exterior of our windows and replace the wood cladding from the 1930s with Hardie Board. The workers were craftsmen. Everyone was courteous. The project was completed on time. We have nothing but high praise for a job well done and would gladly recommend them to our friends, neighbors and the public generally.

Doug is excellent! Our first experience was purchasing a simple side door, which led to purchasing a front door as well! He listens well, knows his products, and is not pushy at all. Doug was mindful of our budget and was able to clearly explain the different grades/levels. Our most recent experience was replacing siding and trim. Once again, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs and budget. He asked JR (project manager) to attend one our planning meeting to discuss possibilities and how to problem solve. Doug and JR taking the time on the front end really helped the project run smoothly.JR was terrific. He attended the planning meeting, communicated clearly and promptly, and was always available to answer questions. He took the time to explain how the project would unfold and what was being to done. Very professional! The crew on the siding project was very good about cleaning up the tear down debris, putting away their tools, materials, and communicating with us about safety for our children. Chico, the crew lead, was always checked at the beginning and end of the work day.Overall, the project turned out extremely well. We expected quality workmanship and materials but it was the little things that really put them over the top.- Excellent communication: from the very start and during the project, always letting us know if something might need to be put together differently than originally planned. Our input was always sought and there were no surprises.- Following up at the end of project and walk through: Doug returned to ensure that the project was done properly and did a thorough walk through. We pointed out some minor details that needed to be addressed and we could not have asked for a better response! JR returned our house and took care of everything: reconfiguring a downspout, ensure our vent flaps opened properly and the caps were secure, repaired a paver step that broke off, and even walked around to pick up finishing nails, debris, and cleaned up the leaves! JR's attention to detail and responsiveness really was the icing on the cake - no questions asked and no excuses made. He just took care of making sure the project was finished properly. On a related note, I had also pointed out to Chico that one of our window screens got torn during the project. He took it off, said he would repair and brought it back the very next day!We had two other/bids and really did our research. We are so pleased we chose Unicorp!

We used Unicorp to replace our roof, windows, siding and gutters. We replaced vinyl replacement windows that had been installed 15 years ago simply because Unicorp's windows were so much nicer. Our original aluminum siding was replaced with James Hardie fiber cement plank siding. The work was done on schedule and well within the time frame we were told to expect at the outset.We could not be happier with the results -- it's like we have a new house! Every aspect of this multi-phase project was well-coordinated, including support from sales and office personnel, as well as from the work crew supervisors. As we were guided through all decisions involving design and materials, we were confident that we were getting the best possible advice, always with our best interests in mind. Unicorp had design suggestions that made a difference and that we wouldn't have thought ourselves. Materials, workmanship and attention to detail were topnotch; a few unanticipated surprises, which could be blamed on the original construction, were discovered and corrected with no additional charge.We wouldn't have the slightest hesitation recommending Unicorp to anyone interested in a high quality renovation of the exterior of their house.

Unicorp was a fantastic experience from beginning to end (and after).They were very straightforward with costs, options, timelines and what is covered. They had great communication and were extremely easy to deal with. They were not pushy in the slightest and began work quickly once we decided to move forward.They are not a bargain basement installer, but they are reasonably priced with no hidden costs and will go above and beyond in every way to make sure you get the value for the money you spend. The installers were quick, clean, courteous, and professional. They went out of their way to deliver color samples for HOA applications, leave extra paint, neatly stack requested scraps/remnants, and deliver caulk at no charge when I requested the color/type in order to match a project I was working on completely independent of their work.I have no hesitations in recommending them.

UNICORP is an exceptional company when it comes to job performance and quality results. We had new James Hardie fiber cement siding installed and the process used by UNICORP was outstanding. They were extremely efficient in all the work they accomplished over the course of several days. Removing existing siding and trim and replacing with new materials is a very difficult and tedious process, but they performed all the needed work beyond our expectations!
