The installers and foreman could not have been more professional. I am beyond pleases and would recommend this company to anyone.
They are an extremely professional company and great workers.
They were wonderful to work with, they left the work site clean every single day. The staff was easy to get along with, and work with.
Came as scheduled to install a sliding door. No problems . Job was done in a few hours and we are very happy.
Gest service, great cratsmanshio.
I would highly recommend United Home Experts to shingle your home's roof. Our roof had some complicated angles and they did a great job handling that. Clean up was great, workers were skilled and respectful of the property.
From the sales process to design to planning to scheduling to the quality of the work, UHE was fantastic to work with. The guys replaced and installed three new windows, a front entry with side lite panels and a rear sliding door all in one day.
Great product and the crew working here was excellent
Workmanship and quality seem excellent.
The auto debit never got set up and it was a lot of harassing phone calls from the company. The installation was great, however.
Good communication and very prompt service!
We have recommended them to family and friends for their professionalism, expertise, and honorability. They do stand behind their work.
The team was professional in every way From start to finish. Very satisfied with the experience and highly recommend them.
Everything was fine to satisfaction and we love our new windows
I am happy with the quality of the window that we chose. Not happy with the color of the inserts - not enough options on this for the price. I should have known more about the process of installation. Men were very courteous - I would not say professional.
We are extremely pleased with the replacement of our roof by UHE--all the people were a pleasure to work with, the materials first-rate, and the job was executed quickly.
UHE completed a terrific support-framing and residing of our old home. Their work, attention to detail, and communication while we were a priority was very good. Once the vast majority of the work was done, though, it took four months to finish the odds and ends of the job before the inspector would sign off on the house. I recommend this company but hope they have learned from their mistakes on our job.
Excellent work for three different projects.
Our every experience with you guys has been great! Happy to refer, and have already done so.
I was very disappointed and surprised (this co had been recommended to me by a friend who had UHE do siding for him, and I saw all the wonderful reviews online) by my experience. I feel that the project manager was stretched too thin. He had only been with the company 2 months and had a commercial construction background. He was very knowledgeable about construction in general, but not necessarily about residential roofing. I feel the subcontractor was not provided with enough supervision. When the project manager was on the job, his phone rang non stop with questions regarding other jobs that he was working on. Additionally, there seemed to be a disconnect between information provided during the sales process and what actually transpired on the job. I was very impressed with the sales person during the sales process and therefore had high hopes for this project. My first issue is that we were sold replacement skylights that we really didn't need. There were no issues with our current skylights, but I agreed to the replacements because I wanted the skylights to be the same age as the roof and I liked that we could get factory installed blinds on the skylights. But unfortunately I was never told that the new skylights would not drop into the cut outs that were already there. 2 of the 3 skylights were the same brand as the originals (Velux) so I'm not sure why there was a need for additional cutting. Had I known cutting would be required I would not have spent 5K to replace functioning skylights. Needless to say I was quite upset to find a pile of debris on my bathroom floor along with plaster and dust on everything in the bathroom including my tooth brushes. And the frame that was visible from inside the house had been constructed by one of the roofers with 2 by 4's! It looked horrible. We did end up proceeding with the 2 other skylights but we had the project manager tape plastic under the skylights to limit the mess in the house. If I had not been home, I'm assuming I would have walked into my house later that day with a mess in the bathroom as well as a bigger mess in our family room (which contained a new entertainment system which is my husband's pride and joy). The company did ultimately address the concerns with the inside framing around the skylights and we are satisfied with how they look now. Another concern I have is with the mansard portion of the house (we have a gambrel and the mansard is a good portion of the front of the house and is very visible from our front yard and walkway). During the sales process we were told that the shingles on the mansard are both nailed and dollops of roofing cement are applied for better holding strength. This was not done per project manager. Also, the shingles are not lying flat in many places including where the roof meets the dormers. I've been told they should flatten over time and with heat from the sun. My fingers are crossed that will indeed be the case (the roof was installed in September). I had expressed concern to the project manager about seeing a lot of nails on the shingles at the top of the mansard. I was told they would use smaller finishing nails so they would not be as visible. Smaller nails were not used and regular clear roofing cement was used to cover the nails so the top of the mansard looked messy to me. The project manager did end up applying a darker colored roofing cement which helped. Had that darker cement been used from the get go along with smaller nails and dollops of roofing cement to help secure the shingles I feel the appearance would have been much improved. My last area of disappointment involves ventilation. We had some mold that had been growing in our attic. At one point we had solar panels (which had since been removed) so we were wondering if that my have been a contributing factor. There were no visible leaks in the attic and our bathroom fan was vented to the outside. The sales person did not feel we needed any additional ventilation but said a tech would take a look when he came out to review measurements and the job site. When the tech came (unannounced I might add) I asked if he would like to look in the attic given the mold issue but he said he didn't need to. He said that would be better assessed on the job when some of the plywood over the attic was being removed and replaced. But there was never any further assessment of our ventilation. We had to mention to the project manager that some of our soffit vents in the back of the house (in the attic) seemed to be blocked. To his credit he did a fair amount of work clearing those vents and he suggested we add some additional vents. My understanding was the vents would only be added to the back portion of the house with the attic. But later I saw vents being added along the back of the house where there was no attic. We didn't need additional ones there and all it served to do was mess up the trim paint and create the need to get vent covers and some of the new holes did not match the size of the original holes. Lastly, related to ventilation, I asked if some baffles could be added in the attic to keep the soffit vents (the ones the project manager had just nicely cleared) open. All that was needed was one baffle per vent. Later when I checked, there were baffles stapled to the plywood leading from the soffit vents to the ridge vent. This is not what I had asked for and was not necessary. I believe they would only need to do that when insulation is going to be applied and you need to keep the air flowing through the insulation. To me this showed a lack of understanding of roofing and ventilation. They did remove the unnecessary baffles. Again related to the ventilation, our vented drip edge was replaced during the job with a regular drip edge. I had to ask for that to be changed. Of course they did change it. Given that we had an attic with mold, I was expecting someone knowledgeable about ventilation to check to make sure all vents in the attic were clear and sufficient. I do not believe that happened and that is very disappointing to me.
They were great to work with.
Nice people & quality workmanship.
United Home Experts did an outstanding job of replacing my roof. The job site was very well managed and left clean. I was impressed with the organization, the speed of the installation, and cleanup. I would strongly recommend this company.
We had a fairly extensive amount of work which was performed with minimal, minor issues. All original issues were fixed on short order. They managed this according to schedule despite some severe winter weather.
They had good quality work, they were quick, and I am very happy with the results.
I questioned some of the repairs and Zach mansplained answers, Left nail around job site, Zach stated he usually brings a magnet, but forgot to this time, Siding was torn during repair, instead of replacing, Zach just applied some spackle, I thought my gutter was over pitched and Zach stated "optically they may look over pitched but are secured properly and functional", and would not fix them. After dealing with Zach, I contacted Scott Patridge and he was also not helpful with a resolution
The team was on time and completed the job as stated.
Overall a very good experience. Did feel that they tried to accomplish too much in too short of a time. I think the consequence was some sloppiness in the nailing of the roof as all of our plywood had to be replaced.
United Home Experts installed a beautiful new roof on our home. Our old roof was the original from the 1980's, and we upgraded to the newer and more modern architectural shingles. The experience with United Home Experts was terrific from start to finish - Tim was a great sales representative and helped us decide what we ultimately wanted, Zach was a thorough project manager during the removal of the old and installation of the new, and the crew was fast, efficient and kept the area cleaned up at the end of each day. We did have a minor problem with one of the roof vents a few months after installation, but Zach was quick to respond, communicated effectively and had one of his team over to our home to resolve the problem - great to see a company stand behind the products they sell and service they provide. Thanks for a great overall experience and facelift to our home!
It has been less than two years since they painted my house and everything has peeled off. It would have been better off if I had never used them in the first place.
They were professional and though, and kept me up to date on progress and any problems.
Work involved full priming and painting of house, repair of various wooden parts of house in disrepair, and replacement of old and bent gutters.A problem noticed several months later with the installed gutters was quickly inspected, repaired at no cost (complete re-installation, which impressed me). I would recommend this team for any home improvement project. They stand by their work and reputation.
We've worked with United Home Experts (UHE) over the past several years at a previous house (roof and siding replacement) and our current house, replaced all 1st floor windows and entry doors and we're proceeding to do the 2nd floor windows. We've consistently had a positive experience with UHE. Their attention to detail and quality of work is excellent. They're prompt in their communication, listened and addressed the details I wanted in every project, and addressed any issues that came up during or after install. I'd highly recommend UHE to anyone looking to replace or update their siding, roof, windows or doors.
They did an excellent job. The crew was professional and courteous .
They have been inconsistent in their performance. They are lacking in their project management.
Great quality servIce.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
United Home Experts did a good job, but it did take a long time for the project to get started from the time we placed the order. They also had to come back and correct a few things, it is ok but our window sill is smaller then it was before.
I'm honestly confused why this company asked us to review them. The new siding on our home is gorgeous. It is made with excellent materials and should last for many years to come. The work was inconsistent. The project took about twice as long as estimated; though perhaps that is considered normal in this industry. In the course of work, several serious problems ensued. The company caused a roof leak. They punched a large hole in an interior wall. They failed to vent one of the dryers properly. They installed window trim wrong. They left the main drainpipe for our roof leaking. It's over a year later and they still have not addressed a leak in the siding they installed, which they have promised to address, and which continues to damage the plaster in the interior stairwell. The project managers have a lot of discretion over what gets done and when. Make sure everything is really complete before you send the final payment. They are very professional in communications, but they do not follow through on promised warranty work. This is the first time I have left any type of review for the company in public. The survey company has contacted me at least six times to leave a review. Here you go.
I cannot begin to tell everyone how wonderfully amazing my home looks and what an amazing group of men who can to my home to do the siding. They went above and beyond my expectations I all ways. If you are looking for a company to do your siding on your home this is it.
Very satisfied customer. Crew was very efficient, communicated well, and did a great job.
We could not be happier with the results and the process.
They are just an outstanding company to work with. It's like a family business. They were remarkable. I am extremely happy with the work they did!
UHE replaced all the windows and sliding doors in our house earlier this year and they did a great job! Make sure to ask for Clayton and Nikolas - they are thorough, fast, hard-working and just great to work with!
Great people to work with. Very pleased.
They were very responsive and very quick and did exactly what we agreed to.
United Home Experts did a nice job with siding removal and installation of new Wearever siding. There were a few things I had to bring to their attention and they quickly made corrections. They lost a part to one of my storm doors between siding removal and install and replaced the door with a whole new door no questions asked. That showed they stood behind their work.
United Home Experts is second to none in communication, planning, and customer service. They only produce the best results with attention to my safety and top notch services.
On Schedule. Quality workmanship. Honest and friendly crew.
I was under the impression my sunporch soffit would be taken care of, which is what they told me in the beginning. They did not in the end. I reported my concern about a raised shingle when they were done and they still have not contacted me back.
I couldn't be happier with beautiful new roof. The entire process was done skillfully and professionally. I wholeheartedly recommend United Home Experts.
