We thought Universal did an outstanding job of replacing our roof

I have recommended Universal Builders of America to a neighbor.

They showed up on time, they cleaned up, and the final product looked very nice.

UBA can be trusted to do the job right. The final cost was just as promised up front. These folks know what they're doing and will take care of your roofing needs.

Awesome company to work with. They are very respectful of the property and I strongly recommend them.

They were timely, efficient and they met all their timelines.

They did everything they said, and when they said they would do it. It was after a big storm, and they had other obligations, but we worked it out.

DO NOT HIRE- Company uses unlicensed subs, cuts corners, shingles over wood rot, does not follow installation guidelines for the products they use, will not answer or respond to calls or emails and will likely completely forget about your job after you pay. They will bill you and your insurance even after the job is finished and you have been final invoiced. They will supplement your insurance to fix their own mistakes. When you bring it up they ignore you and drag their feet hoping you give up. For me personally this led to over 7 thousand dollars in roof damage on a "brand new roof" as well as needing to replace windows and siding due to them dragging out patchwork repairs for almost 2 years. Almost $15,000 dollars later its a BIG NO FROM ME DAWG..

A very thorough inspection was performed on our roof to assess storm damage to our home. Josh explained the details and processes it would take to get our roof replaced. He made some recommendations on the products they use that would look best on our home. He gave details about the scheduling process and when the installation could be done. The installers arrived on the date scheduled and were amazing! They did a complete tear off and replacement in just 1 day!! The new shingles look great! Highly recommend!!

The entire process from inspection of my damaged roof thru the roof being completed was seamless, thorough and I felt confident that everything was being handled properly.

I had a very positive experience with Universal Builders. They were professional in all areas. The on-site QA lead was very responsive to my questions and clarified things where needed. I would recommend them

The process was really fairly easy and quick. That part was mind-blowing. They tore the roof off and had it back on in two days. That included my little shed also, so everything was done in two days. That was great.

Buy Owens-Corning products, they are very high quality and quite attractive, but DO NOT use this installer. If anything goes wrong, you'll be months getting it rectified if at all. Not a pleasant experience.

Except for the sales staff. The work crew and office staff were so friendly and so effective. The sales staff wouldn't show up after the sale.

Most of the work was done very quickly -- about 3 days to fully reroof a decent size house. But a few things were not ideal.A live wire was left hanging in the attic after the fan was removed. It was corrected only after I pointed it out to the QC.They didn't really sweep for nails after they were done. I asked for the sweeper and spent several hours sweeping the driveway and the property.After the main install was done, they needed to install an apron over one section. That took months.

Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of work and the communication with the staff from Universal Builders of America.

There are lots of roofing companies out there. We'd never heard of Universal before so thet had to earn our trust and confidence. And they did!

Emanuel Jones made a HUGE positive impression when he pulled in the driveway respectfully asking to assess our roof damage. Without him we would not have gotten the insurance company to acknowledge there was hail damage!!

They have good workers who worked hard.

Overall, Universal Builders of America did a great job and I would definitely hire them again.

The roof is beautiful and they did a really good job. They even used a metal detector to pick up all of the nails. We had one issue with the caulking, but they fixed it.

Overall, I had a very good experience!

Universal builders were knowledgeable and Ian was on site checking out the work that was being done as the project was in progress. He kept us aware of what was being done on the project and with our insurance company.

I would give them a 10 out 10 stars.

I would recommend Universal Buildersas they are very fast and deliver what they promise. The final product is very nice. They work very well. They really explain what they will do and fight the competition in pricing as well. They fought for me with our insurance company. I'm very happy.

I checked with 4 companies before selecting this one and the two men who came out in the beginning sold me on the project. There were very professional, answered my questions, and did a great job. Everything they said, Josh and Josh, was what happened. The house looks beautiful.

I have had an A+ experience with Universal Builders. From the initial meeting and estimate through phase 1 of my build project, I have been treated with a high level of professionalism and integrity. The roofing crew was incredible, they worked from early morning until the sun set. They worked so well together it appeared that they were anticipating each others next need/move. I was impressed. I look forward to meeting the siding and gutters crews for the next two phases of the project.

They did not satisfy their agreement with me. They have not fulfilled their contract.

I'll be honest, the staff and crew were very nice & friendly, but my neighbors had other contractors and they finished much faster that our crew. I have nothing bad to say, I just wish it would have been completed sooner.

Universal Builders of America employees were professional, helpful and informative. They communicated everything clearly. I absolutely love my new roof!

The work they have done with our new roof has been good. We are still waiting to hear from them though on more gutter work as well.

I am not a roofing professional. The roof appears adequate. There were issues with installation however. My satellite dish was removed and thrown away, which meant I had to have the cable company come out and install a new one. There is also a humidity fan in my attic that does not work correctly since debris fell in.

We felt confident when the Universal Builders were here right away and access the damage and were here when our insurance company was here. kind of a spoke's man for us.

The process was explained fully and I was updated every step of the way.

They said that they replaced some sheets of plywood, but they never showed me the pieces they replaced. They did an excellent job other than that!
