They messed up my chimney.
Already have several times.
I have already recommended Universal Roofing to multiple neighbors and friends. This is my second roof with them and I have been very pleased both times.
After the hurricane, they showed up to tarp my roof in a timely fashion and then gave me an estimate in a timely fashion. I thought the estimate was reasonable, and they showed up in a timely manner to complete the job, and the communication was excellent.
Universal Roof and Contracting were professional. They explained what was going to happen and their site manager made sure everything went smoothly and answered any issues that arose. They took care of the issues in a timely manner,
Job was done in a professional manner, the crew were friendly and helpful. We hit some bumps before getting a install date but everything was worked out and done in a way that made me feel confident about choosing Universal Roofing.
They were on time and kept me informed of all phases of construction.
Did a great job and clean up
They were stellar start to finish. Professional, on time, delivered on all promises.
The workmanship itself was great quality. The reason for rating is with the communication factor. I got quoted for one price, and the price at the end of the job was a lot more expensive that I thought. It was a fifth to a quarter more. I know it was an estimate, but it was a big jump. There was a communication issue, as I asked them to clean up the roofing nails, but I had to do it myself.
Universal Roof & Contracting services were good. My only complaint is they have a very long waitlist, and the scheduling takes them more than a month. Other than that, they kept the timeline as promised, and the work was done as promised. I have no complaints, and I'm satisfied with the workmanship.
The people were all very courteous especially Jon Baker, the Estimator. He was extremely help throughout the whole process.
Mike Emrich was our initial contact person right after Hurricane Milton. Although we were out-of-state at the time, he was sent to Tampa, and he was flooded with work, he kept in contact with us and was always quick respond. He organized that a colleague would assess our roof so that we would know the extent of the damage and if the roof was leaking or not. Next, he got us in contact with Damian Crawford who organized the scheduling and repairs. We are very pleased with Mike’s responsiveness, even late into his evening, and also with Damian and his crew. We would definitely recommend them to friends and will return when we need a full roof replacement. Honest assessment and quality work!
It took a long time to get the roof done. They were supposed to start in September and did not start until October for one reason or another. One reason was that the girl who had my project just up and left and the paperwork was left on her desk.
They were professional, quick, and took care that everything was cleaned up after the job was complete.
I did not like the way Universal Roof & Contracting handled the final billing.
Adrian, Jarrod, and Dalton were professional, wonderful, courteous, and responsive.
If you need a roofing contractor, by far, you cannot find anyone any better. You probably cannot find anyone as good, honest, and reliable that sells and applies the greatest product by Owens Corning ever.
I really enjoyed David, he was my first line of contact. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and patient, I didn't say yes when I met with him. After speaking to him and talking about it, I decided to go with your company. He was really a pleasure to work with.
I just referred them to one of my neighbors. They were a very good company, especially the first time I met with David, the salesperson. He was professional and had so much knowledge about what I wanted to get done. They worked diligently with me and my husband when we ran into some problems because it's an older home. It's so outstanding, I know I'll give them other business from my other neighbors.
John Baker was very communicative and let me know everything. I would recommend him. I really appreciated all of his help!
The people at the head office in Orlando were very polite and very forthcoming. The local office, they opened shortly after hurricane Ian, needs a lot of work. They are trying to do too much too fast and have not established the office properly. I have a degree and background in business administration for 40-years. They were trying to expand too fast with the damage from hurricane Ian. They have work crews that should not be installing roofs.
They were very good. I would definitely recommend them.
They are a great company and did what they were supposed to do. I am a building inspector and I am happy.
It looks awesome. I am hoping for rain, so I can test it out. It really looks beautiful.
