Great service cleaned their mess up when finished and left like they were never there very pleased
The way they work, the way they look, and the Great Job the installers did putting them in, plus the way they made sure we were Pleased.
Does not keep appointments, slow response to customer calls, slow to schedule repairs to damaged frames
Added a service charge for “lifetime warranty” very frustrating to spend that amount of money and expect one thing only to be told another when we needed to uses our warranty
Unfortunately, I don't feel we have had good customer service. I am still waiting on a reply and was told within 48 hours. We are missing a screen, that YOUR company took and have not replaced!

Air leaking around the windows
The salesman was so nice and loved him. The installer left trash and product in the rooms; which were my two daughters rooms. One is only 3 so I’m glad I found it before she did.the guy who came to check to make sure the windows were installed right didn’t call before coming. Wasn’t even home; pulled in and saw the van there. He was there no more than 10 minutes and didn’t really seemed concerned about my concerns regarding the windows.

Salesperson Professionalism - Very professional and was on time even with bad weather
I would not recommend Universal Windows Direct to my worst enemy. The salesperson they sent to our home was terrible, rude, and would not leave our house. After his presentation he wanted us to sign a contract right then. We told him we needed to talk about it first and then he started getting irate, saying that this was the best and there was no need to talk about it. I ask him to leave and he refused to go and started arguing with me because we wouldn't sign the contract. I had to pick up his sample window and set it outside our front door, to which he told me not to touch his stuff. He still wouldn't leave so I had to call the office and told him my next call would be the police. He finally left when I started to call the police. A few days later we got a call from Universal Windows Direct asking how our appointment went, it was obvious that whoever we talked to when we tried to get him to leave said nothing to anyone about this. We had to explain all of this again to her and she apologized.

Universal windows company is a great company and I will continue to use them and recommend to anyone that needs windows. I’m a big fan!!
The window has both sound proofing and insulation, replaced the whole frame. Perfect!

We have only had the windows for 2 weeks but we definitely love them. I am trusting that if we do experience any problems in the future we can call and will be taken care of . I will be recommending this company.
Customer service communication is not good. We ask for a phone call to let us know when technicians are on the way so we can be prepared and never get one. Poor to no communication when servicedate needs to be changed on Universal's end

The windows are nice, but I had to do my own research and have the contract changed to do a total tear out so that I actually got what the salesman “said” I was getting. Cost thousands more. Normally, they just put a smaller window inside the current frame.
Installation Crew - Great crew and answered any question I had. Worked hard and stayed until job was complete.

Window's are good although they ordered one wrong window and one wrong door so we are waiting to get the job finished. The overall cost was extremely expensive but I was unable to get comparables.

Many issues, had multiple measuring tech visits and still got the wrong windows the first time, (inserts vs full pull). The windows are ok, the doors suck. The installation was not as clean and professional as I would have expected.
Loved the quality the price and timely matter
While their warranty is lifetime, after one year, we are charged $149.99 for a service call. This was not in affect when we purchased the window & I do not feel we should have to pay that now! Going forward, I will not purchase any more windows from them because of this new fee. I hope that $149.99 fee is worth the loss of the remaining 30 windows we need replaced!
Install went good installers worked all day and cleaned up leftover materials. However the windows are not clean they have streaks on all of them and one window in our dining ares about 12 feet off the floor still has manufacturers stickers left on inside window frame not happy I half to clean my new windows already and pill off stickers . Just seems for the money spent on the windows they would be clean and streakless . I also thought we get a phone call a day after Install to see how it went but whatever.

One of the bushings broke on the window frame and Universal came out quickly and replaced the part. Great service!
Canceled delivery once then canceled delivery one hour before scheduled appointment then rescheduled again.. multiple day's waiting on delivery had to reschedule other appointments.

Everything was done in a very professional manner and if the windows holdup like the quality of work then Everything will fantastic.
We are currently waiting for a replacement of 2 side by side windows from our order that were manufactured upside down, but installed anyway. I did not realize this until I attempted to lift them out for spring cleaning. A technician came out and told me what the problem was. That was 2 months ago and we have not heard back. Today we called and the person we spoke with was no better than talking with an automated robot-no apology or sympathy, no explanation for our long wait except to say that they had attempted to call us a few times. Neither of our phones shows any calls from Universal or phone messages or emails to update us. To go nearly the entire summer without being able to wash my windows is unacceptable. We are very disappointed.

Quality of the window is great. Sales presentation is lacking. No info on cost of labor and cost of individual windows during pitch. Feels like you are covering up how much the cost of product is. Also sales representative appeared agitated when wanting to consider the cost and possibly not closing the deal. People calling from office don't know what is going on. Quality installer, efficient and did good work. 3 star just on product and installer. Would have left a 2 star otherwise.
My only complaint is the installers left stickers and caulk on the windows.
My whole experience with Universal Windows Direct of Columbus was wonderful, from the first phone call to when the installers left! I will definitely recommend Universal Windows Direct of Columbus to all my friends. Windows came MUCH quicker than I was told by sales person. So happy!
Measure Technician’s Precision - To the 1/8" - He knew what he was doing!!! I appreciate it because my brother had Universal do his windows a couple of years ago and they measured wrong or the numbers were put into the system wrong but they were delayed another 4 weeks, which made it a very long time to get their windows. But when they were done, they looked fantastic. That is why I went with Universal!
Installer’s Professionalism - The two gentleman that came to my home were very professional and courteous - I have 2 dogs and they were very happy to make sure they were not getting out of the house or fence. Thank you so much!!
