Since its inception by co founders William Barr and Michael Strmac in 2002, Universal Windows Direct has lived by the philosophy of CANEI - "Constant and Never Ending Improvement". This philosophy holds true in all aspects of our business, from sales and marketing to installation and service and has catapulted UWD from a small, local home improvement company to one of the largest exterior remodeling companies in the country. Bait and switch. Was promised $1250 end of year certificate and $50 Amazon gift card. I confirmed that this was on top of my locked in price since I had 2 projects done within last year and was ready to do final phase. She confirmed twice on phone and scheduled for person to take measurements. I drove 3 hours to be there. Then the cert amount in your system was only $750. When associate called to correct, they would not honor what I was quoted AND removed the $750 and Amazon card. DISAPPOINTED. Just DO WHAT YOU PROMISED.

The installers left the metal trimmings from my front window installation in my front yard. Left without finishing the clean up. I have pictures if interested

Was told Saturday install could be scheduled then when windows came in we were told no Saturday installs. After 2 weeks of multiple calls from different people finally a Saturday was scheduled. We were also told if the windows were not install soon we would be charged a storage fee, Not verry customer friendly.
