I did not have a good experience with the sales rep or when my windows were installed.

From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and professional. Jason and the installation team was friendly, efficient, and clearly knew what they were doing—even with our old metal windows that were built right into the masonry. I was impressed with how cleanly and skillfully they handled the tricky job. Jeff, our salesman, was also great—no pressure, just helpful and honest, and he got us a great deal. The windows came in quicker than expected, and the finished product looks fantastic. I couldn’t be happier!

Everyone thinks my door look different from the rest of my neighbors.

Windows installation team was messy and did not clean up after themselves. Damage to siding took over 6 months to repair.

The window was installed on April 9, 2024. The work was not completed until February 2025! It's funny that I received a phone call from your company the week of February 10, 2025, wanting to set an appointment for a quote for our window. The request is over 1 year old!

I would not recommend Universal Windows Direct to a Friend. I had issues after installation which took close to two months to somewhat resolve as no one could give answers/solutions to the problem. Trim color was not correct and was stated that it would be the same as it was previously prior to the new windows being installed, which was not the case and got many mixed information from Ariana. After almost 2 months someone came out to paint the trim on our large window which is close to 20 feet high- the painter was given zero details from Ariana stating the height and did not have the correct tools (no fault to the painter as he could have been given better details on the porject). Luckly my husband was home and the extremly nice painter found a solution using something we had at our home.

The installers were quick, professional, friendly n did a great job on the install and cleaning up after themselves.

I initially had an issue because I was not allowed to make an estimate appointment without my domestic partner there, even though that person only rented a room out of the house that I own. However, after speaking with someone else, I had a much better experience.

all 10 windows i purchased had to be adjusted to keep air from coming in for the price i expected better quality

I began researching replacement windows 5 years ago and at that time Universal by far stood out in quality both in the representative’s knowledge and construction of the windows. In previous homes I had other top of the line windows that did not hold up to my expectations. After recommending Universal to friends in my condo community I was able to replace my sunroom windows. I look forward to replacing the remaining windows next year. Their advertising pitch on TV is trustworthy—“I love my windows’”!!!!! Although more cost initially the savings in heat/AC is the payoff.

Universal Windows did a great job with my main picture window replacement. It randomly decided to crack making me extremely nervous for the work ahead and the price. They walked me through the process and offer affordable rates plus payment plans. The installation was a quick 2 man job. One of my screens had a small hole at the bottom that I noticed the next day and when I called customer service they were able to get someone out to replace within a week. As a first time home buyer I was extremely anxious, but I'm relieved with the work done and the company overall. My only qualm would be how far out they schedule for the window replacement, but I guess when you're a reputable/affordable company that's what happens. Overall I'd definitely recommend and will look to them in the future if more work is needed.

They did a great job on our windows, they were very polite and professional and used covers on there shoes when they worked in the house, first they put down tarps under the old windows to keep the floors clean and undamaged which I appreciated and they got the job done quickly, took all the trash with them and left us with beautiful windows and no mess to clean up. I was very surprised how fast it happened and very pleased with the results. Our windows look awesome!

Salesman was pushy and would not answer all of my questions, there was a promotion that they would not honor that was advertised for more than a week and the installers do not do as they were told

The sales model is manipulative and designed to pressure the customer to make a decision before the salesman leaves. This was not disclosed or transparent when I made the appointment, and I made the appointment to get an estimate on windows so I can compare to other options that I was considering.

The two installers were fantastic. The were hard working and professional. I would definitely recommend universal windows.

Universal Windows Direct of Cleveland is a good option for my home project, i.e. replace the entry door and large sight view window at 2nd F. I'm delighted to share my experience thru quote, measurement, and installation service. Typically, they adjusted original proposal according to the city permits without asking me for extra cost. The installation was also handled professionally. I would like to witness the quality of the newly installed window and doors as the time being and their after-sale service, because it claims for life-time warranty.

Jim was punctual, courteous and fixed the issue promptly. Very happy with the quality of work.
