The crew was prompt, thorough and great at doing my roof despite very stormy weather. Throughout the entire job, no leaks and this was during the legendary bomb cyclone. Nice work.

Valentine stayed on schedule, communicated well, and did a nice job cleaning up daily and at the end of the project. The crew was friendly and I felt that they worked safely.

The entire process was easy and everyone was great to work with, from the original estimate process through scheduling and then the onsite crew. Communication was very thorough and timely; I never had to wonder what was happening or what was next up. The estimate was fair based on others we received and based on our early conversation, we made the decision to go with Valentine and have been super happy with every stage. Our timeline matched up with some big storms coming through the area, but the crew was amazingly fast and diligent to get everything complete in just a couple of days. This was my first experience with getting a roof replaced, and I'm very happy with the result. It looks great!

The internal communication between the Estimator and the installation crew was very poor. The installation crew didn't speak English so I couldn't communicate with them. Things I needed to relay to the Estimator were missed.

I loved the same-day estimate; not only was it days quicker than the competition, it was also the lowest of the 3. The roofing team was very considerate. WE have three dogs who don't do well with strangers; the roofers followed our suggestions perfectly on how to communicate without the ringing the doorbell (which of course would lead to triple dog mayhem).

We talked to 3 companies including Valentine Roofing and ended up selecting them for our roof project. Our decision was based on our assessment of their capability to deliver quality work, quality of the product they carry, competitive pricing and integrity. From the very start in the bid process, our salesperson Chris Brown did a thorough job of assessing our roof condition and explained to us what we need and what they could do. He walked us through the pros/cons of Owens Corning vs others, answered our questions on installation, gave opinion on color schemes and advised us on the importance of its warranty. He was responsive when we came up with additional questions while trying to decide which way to go. We were pleased with his customer engagement.

Once we finalized the bid with them, the handoff to their two project managers, Dominique and Courtney was seamless. Dominique promptly gave us a call, explained the next steps, gave us a timeline and assured us of constant communication. We received follow up emails on what owners should do prior to the start of the project which helped us prepare our house and send our own communication to our neighborhood. They gave us ample notice when the products will be delivered and when the crew will arrive. When Dominique had to take a leave, Courtney took over and called us about the transition which ensured continuity as if Dominique didn't leave. We liked this accountability and continuity from the company.

When the project started, the crew led by Rene came on time and spoke to us. He introduced himself, told us the plan on how it's going to go day by day. As the project progressed, Rene gave us an overview of the day's activity in the morning and a progress update in the evening. He took before and after pictures and showed it to us everyday. When he saw something that needed to be addressed (ex. rotting wood trim), he consulted with us and gave us options. He looked out for us, the customer, by being cost conscious and suggested ways how we can reuse some of the wood trims. In the end, we did a replace and reuse in some areas of the roof and were happy with the result. We liked his problem solving attitude, quality of work and integrity.

We were pleased with the end result of our roof and how this company, from the salesperson, project managers and roofing crew engaged with us. This was a positive customer experience prompting us to recommend the company to others. We actually already recommended VR to one of our neighbors who saw our roof being installed and directed them to Valentine. Great job to VR and thank you to the team.

They did an excellent job on our roof and worked hard to beat the rain. The experience manager was a key aspect that made working with Valentine a pleasure.

Provided fast service to us with no hassle. Estimate was accurate and reasonable. Explained exactly what they were going to do at a very reasonable price which included the roofing and new gutters. We had a couple of truss issues and they repaired those. The roofers finished the previous job early and came to our house a day early and went to work immediately.

Very pleased with the entire process. The roof looks amazing and that is no easy feat due to the unique home structure.

The work was done quickly and done well.

Top quality installation and a quality product were the top criteria in choosing a roofing company. Valentine delivered on both of these areas above and beyond my expectations. I would not hesitate to use them for future projects.

I can't give them five stars since we picked them originally and ended up paying a much higher price than local local roofers. Therefore, we expected perfection.

To close out the project, pictures were taken and I reviewed before signing off on it. They neglected to take a picture of it. Later, we realized there was a very unsightly edge where shingles had a ripple and didn't line up. It was right over the garage being the first thing one sees.

It was very difficult with while we were out of the country. In the end, they did respond and rectify the issue very quickly once we returned and were easy to work with.

Overall, we are pleased.
