On the second anniversary of hurricane Isaac’s devastating strike on southeast Louisiana, Vinyltech LLC has reestablished itself as a leading exterior finishes subcontractor to the home building industry.

In a major test of fortitude, Vinyltech has battled back from a natural disaster that would have put a lesser company out of business permanently. Relocating at a new site in Kenner, Louisiana (a suburb of New Orleans that did not flood) Vinyltech has used this event to rebuild itself into an industry leader. Young dynamic leadership in the form of owner Shane Mulkey and longtime associate Alejandro Czerny are leading Vinyltech to a successful future. Together they have positioned Vinyltech to better serve its customer base through improved customer service and controlled expansion.

The task of rebuilding Vinyltech has not been as easy one. The lack of the levees around Laplace, Louisiana left Vinyltech inundated in fetid floodwaters. The management and sales office took two feet of water, ruining everything from business records to sales invoices. The business assets that were not soaked in foul water were subject to extremes of heat and humidity. Employees had to rebuild their employer in addition to their own residences. Because of storm related chaos, there were significant employee turnovers due to multiple disruptions in their lives.

Vinyltech is now utilizing its relocation from Laplace to Kenner to exceed its pre Isaac level of business. New requests for quotes are arriving on a daily basis and new personnel have been added to better meet the needs of our customers. A revised and expanded website is anchoring an aggressive new advertising and marketing strategy to build on the good name that is Vinyltech.
