We originally contacted WF Schmidt Co. a year ago about an estimate for our roof of 20 years. Bill gave us an honest estimate assuring us that our current roof had a year or two left of assured use. We appreciate the fact that he did not push his product to us. Bill left us brochures for the Owens Corning products. We finally made our decision in 2021 and granted his company the contract. Thank you very much WF Schmidt for your superior workmanship and thank you Teri for your assistance.

I was most satisfied with the crew. They were really focused. Everybody knew what they were doing, and nothing had to be redirected. They hardly spoke to one another, and were very diligent. Fifteen minutes after getting off the roof, a big storm came. As they were breaking down, they started talking again. Everybody knew their job, and worked diligently and professionally. It was pretty amazing how professional they worked. I have worked with a lot of different trades over the years, and it was noticeable on how well they worked and they did the job. The owner came out and did the initial survey. He wasn't trying to sell me anything. It was just repair work. So, it was first with the owner, and then the crew he was the ninth person, and had eight crew member, plus him. It went very well.

Mike was fantastic to work with. His knowledge and professionalism was very welcoming. In a time when customer service seems to be lacking, Mike and the entire staff went above and beyond.

I think they were hardworking people. They did the job! There were several things to do, and they completed them all on time!

W F Schmidt was very great to work with. We had 4 other quotes before and we decided to go with them because of how easy they were to talk to as well as price/color of shingle selection. The day of installation they were prompt and began working right away. There was a brief light rain storm that came through, so they called in more crew to finish the install faster in case the rain would come back. Started at 7:30-8am and finished by 4:30-5pm. We are very pleased with our roof and will be using them again when we are ready in a couple years for new siding.

I'm very happy. Wish we had realized we neglected to replace the roof on our shed while the house was being done. Of course our first visitor after it was done immediately noticed and inquired why they don't match.

Really happy with my roof replacement! Bill repaired my old roof years ago, and was always totally honest and upfront with me. When it finally came time to do the replacement, working with him was totally smooth! He did everything he could to get the work done quickly so that our house could be ready for the weather.

Working with WF Schmidt Construction Company was fantastic. They were on time, professional, and worked hard to complete our roof. The communication was great and they addressed all of our questions and concerns right away. In one day, they tore the roof off and replaced it, cleaned up like they had never been there. After my initial phone call to this company and speaking with Teri, the assistant, I felt that this was a quality company to deal with, plus, they were locally based. Teri was pleasant and answered the many questions I had whenever I spoke to her. Initially, I was inquiring about a new gutter and a possible sliding door so she sent out Bill to do a complimentary evaluation/estimate. Upon noticing roofing shingles on my property, he had, also, inspected the roof and found (documented with pictures he had taken) hail damage and suggested I call my insurance company, which I did. When they sent out a 3rd-party inspector, he came to meet him and even had to wait for a considerable period of time as the inspector was late. Although I did not receive full insurance coverage for the roof, I had it replaced along with getting some gutter work done. With the colder weather soon setting in, he came with his team on a Saturday to do the work. I was out of town that day, but when I had returned, the new roof - some of the underlying plywood also had to be replaced due to deterioration - and gutter were installed and the property had been cleaned up.

I am glad I picked them. I was happy with their quality of work and would recommend them to anybody.

Teri in the office was very responsive to our emails and was very helpful in getting us scheduled for replacement. The installation team was very polite and professional and worked hard to get our roof completed in one day! Overall, we were extremely happy and are glad to recommend them to friends and family!

The property is being sold so it is nice to have that guarantee from Owens corning as well as Schmidt Construction.

Just had our roof replaced by these guys. Received a couple quotes and Schmidt Construction came in a little lower and was doing a little more. New roof, gutters and repointing chimneys.
