He was professional, extremely polite and responsive to our questions and inquiries, even answering a question outside of his working hours. He paid attention to our needs and was always double checking with us about the many details of the project. We would also like to recognize Jenny Samek who helped with the design and development of our project. She was always responsive to our questions and so helpful in considering our choices and helping find the resources we needed. Communication with her was easy and she was fun to work with.

Areas Of Satisfaction - First of all, we had been working with a previous designer and company and the process was taking a long time and we felt that we were not given priority since according to them, it was a small project. It was taking months just to get through the design process. The budget we had set was unrealistic however, that was never relayed to us and communication with the company slowed and was infrequent. We were always left wondering where we were in the design process. On a whim, I walked into the Willet Construction showroom and spoke with Jenny Samek. She gave me information on the spot about how the company could work with us a date was set to evaluate our project. From the initial consultation to the end of the project, we always knew where we were at as far as the schedule went, and also the decisions that needed to made. We were also given a realistic estimate of our project at the very beginning so we knew what we had to do financially. Using the builder trend program made the project go even smoother. All of the subcontractors were very easy to work with and did high-quality work.

Additional Comments - As expected, the remodeling process was a little bit inconvenient however, it was not the terrible experience we had heard about from others. We will definitely use Willet Construction for any future projects.

The buildertrend app was very helpful in terms of seeing progress along the way and communicating with the project team. It felt like along the way that the Willet team was just as excited to see the results of our kitchen as we were. Due to our budget, we had to pivot a bit on some of our initial design selections, but those on the project team worked to find comparable solutions that met our vision and budget.

It was an unusual project. Dustin did an excellent job designing the steps. He had to figure out how to do it. We were gone when he did the work. When we came back, they were done very well. We are older, and we have some mobility issues. He made us steps so that we could get down easier.

We are pleased with the work that was done. Jonathon took a lot of time with us early on before contracts were signed to show us what could be done with the house. As we went through the process we identified three "needs" and then looked at some "wants" or "dreams". It was great working with him, and he captured our thoughts with his renderings. It greatly helped us visualize what we were hoping to accomplish. Unfortunately, we were only able to accomplish the "needs" but we look forward to possibly in the future engaging them for the "dreams". The subcontractors they had complete the work were professional and left the area clean at the end of the day. We have not been shy about mentioning and recommending Willet Construction to our friends already!

Willett Construction did an excellent job from the initial design faze all the way through to completion of our project. In the design faze, they offered suggestions that I had not thought of that enhanced the end product. They carried through with the management of their work and that of other contractors so that the job was completed on time as promised and in a quality fashion. We were treated professionally and kept well informed throughout.
