Everything was very professional from the sales person, Brett, to follow ups before, during, and after installation. The installers did a great job. They were very efficient. Cleaned up everything before the left. Love my new windows!

The initial inspection was very informative and the sales rep was great; did not feel pressured to purchase or decide anything at that time. The initial installation was timely and great. The only negative in this process was the inspection period. The windows failed the initial inspection due to a minor issue of some missing fasteners. People make mistakes, not a big deal. But the communication and coordination after the initial failed inspection (or lack thereof) was incredibly frustrating. No one was calling to update us on when re-inspections would be scheduled, and I had to constantly do the leg work to make sure the inspectors comments were addressed and re-inspections were scheduled. Ultimately, that's the least important item of the process, whereas product quality and price are, which were both positives.

The Window World of Tampa salesperson who came to the house was great. The installers were great. The installers amazingly kept everything clean and cleaned the floor better than it was when they arrived.

The initial work when they put in the windows did not pass the inspection from the city, which caused them having to come back. The improper work and the delay in coming to fix it the second time is why I did not give Window World of Tampa a 5.

The initial interaction with the Salesperson (Brett) was good and he was very knowledgeable about the product. So much so that I asked him to also quote on windows at my partner's house. He explained the replacement would take about 6-8 weeks, which was reasonable. In about 6 weeks I was contacted by WW for the installation. The installer came out, looked at the job and said he couldn't do it as he did not have all of the materials. I was contacted a couple of weeks later by WW that installers were coming and also advised of the supervisor's name by email. Supervisor came to house early in the installation and left. Installers were messy and not very respectful of my property - for example, putting tools directly on my dining room table, and one of the workman used the toilet for #2 without asking. I worked from home that day, and later in the day I checked to see how the installation of 2 windows and 1 door was progressing. They had installed the door in the wrong direction, scratched the glass, gouged out a floorboard, and left a hole in the ceiling and floor. One window was installed well, and the other had been very poorly sealed with gaps in the sealing. I explained that the door was installed incorrectly. The installer said it would be a lot of work to change it and they didn't have time because it was getting late. I called the supervisor but it was after 630pm and didn't get a response. The installer asked me to sign the paperwork and state that on it that there was an issue, which I did. They did not clean up. The following day I contacted WW and told the supervisor of the issues. He told me to pay and they would fix the problems. I was later contacted by WW head office and told to pay for the remainder of the installation. I said I would pay when the job was complete. A few days later the original installers came out and reversed the door so that it operated in the correct direction. They did not clean up.
I was contacted by the "Branch Manager" (Dave) who actually came out to look at the quality of the work and issues. He stated they would address all of the remaining issues which required stuccoing and replacement of the scratched door. A couple of weeks later after a couple of missed appointments the stucco guys showed up and did an excellent job around the window that had been sealed poorly and sealed the ceiling and floor.
Another couple of weeks later, an appointment was made for the replacement of the scratched door. Much to my surprise, the original installers showed up, and the same supervisor's name was emailed to me. I texted Dave because I thought it was poor that they sent the same installers they had originally made the errors. He texted back, saying they had done nothing wrong. They installed the new glass for the door, which was also scratched (but not as bad - I didn't care anymore), and asked me to sign the completion documents, which I did as the door appeared fine. They did not install the capping, which I was told was the last step in the process. They did not clean up.
After the installers had left, I operated the door and found that when it was locked, if I pulled it back slightly, there was a gap in the door closing (not something you would normally test for). I immediately called Dave and alerted him to the problem, and he was rude! He YELLED at me, would not listen, and told me I was frustrating, and wondered why I'd signed the documents. I had been told to by the installers to sign and state the issue with completion. I don't know their internal process. Finally he stated he would send someone to fix the remaining issues the following morning. The following morning a great technician showed up who quickly fixed the gap issue (something overlooked by the installers) and we plugged and capped the doors and windows.
I do understand the whole issue was frustrating for all BUT it started and ended with the poor customer service and installation job provided by WW. Ths whole event took about 4 months to complete. I will tell everyone I know not to use WW.
No one has calls back after 5 different attempts to speak with job supervisor who have never even seen the job.
Window World representatives were professional and courteous from beginning to end. I felt confident that I was buying a high quality product. They were always available to answer questions.
The sales associate promised me the install would be within 3 weeks and as it turns out it was 8 weeks .
They are very thorough and clean. I expected to have a big mess and there wasn't one. It was very clean as they went from room to room.
2nd home I had all windows replaced - do not be afraid of their lower price. They do a great job!
I have looked at other companies and was quoted prices that were twice the price quoted by Window World and the sales person at the other company did not provide the nexessary info required by our HOA.

Installers went above and beyond to help prepare our home on the day of install when we had an injury and couldn't complete preparations. They worked around us and our young kids to ensure kids weren't too disrupted. They also made an excellent referral for another professional we needed.
