Chris and team were very professional on my project and I would absolutely recommend them and/or use them again for further projects.

I called Worth back after the Derecho happened in August of 2020 to get a quote to have my roof redone and to have some soffit damaged repaired. Kenney helped us through the process and they were able to provide me the best quote I could get. Spring came and finally work could be started, they collected the first payment for roof and soffit material. Roofers started work on a Friday, worked all day. Saturday comes around some workers show up at my house (I'm assuming to finish work) but instead they show up for about an hour to pick up some items they left behind. Sunday the same happens, they show up to pick up some items for about 30 minutes and leave again. Monday they show up again for 30 minutes get on the roof and pick up the remainder of their items and leave. No communication to what's going on at all. We call Worth to see what is going on/when they will come get their dumpster out of our driveway because we don't have access to park our vehicles and see when they will be coming back to complete the work. They told us they were done working on the roof and because we called to get a quote on siding they didn't touch the soffit because they would complete it when we do new siding (we contacted them to get a quote, but did not agree to move forward with new siding.) They said by mid week they would be back out to complete work. Next day Kenney comes to my home to collect payment, I had the check cut out for the remainder of the work (labor for the roof and soffit repair) but did not feel comfortable with giving him payment until the job was fully completed. I asked if he could wait until they finished the remainder the work which is supposedly going to be within 3 days and he said no he needed to collect payment then. I have two small children and my husband works an 8-5 schedule so it's not easy for me to just get in the car and go to the bank especially within COVID season when my son had a heart condition to go get new checks cut. I told Kenney when I get time I will try and go to the bank to get new checks printed but he needed the check then or a time where he could come back to pick them up, he literally would not leave my house until I could provide him with a new check or time. I honestly felt really threatened and just gave him the check even though I felt really uncomfortable with it. He told me he would email me later that day to confirm work will be done on that Thursday to complete everything, didn't hear anything. Called back the next day to confirm if work will be done, was told "they would have to check to see if they have enough material to be able to complete the job" I had already paid for the material yet, they didn't have material. Finally a week later they came and finished their job. The work they did was good, very disappointed in the lack of communication and professionalism.

The job was done just as described, in the amount of time allowed. Matt took the time to answer all my questions before beginning the project and he encouraged me to get additional estimates before deciding. He also didn't try to talk me into doing more work than needed to be done. I'll come to Worth again for my next project.

Matt Seamer was great and presented a lot of ideas that we had not even considered. When there were some issues, he looked for solutions above and beyond what we expected. We still wanted the initial plan we had and it had to be slightly altered. It was unfortunate that they could not do more of the project because some things were impractical but they saved us money and gave us a wonderful solution that looked great in the end!

Worth Exteriors were excellent to work with as well as all painters, people installing the gutters, etc. Amy helped me by actually meeting me at my workplace and our home to accommodate my work schedule. They made our house built in 1978 look brand new.

As mentioned earlier, the lack of follow through on occasion was very frustrating. I would have given four stars based upon the work itself

Re: #8; Workmanship and materials were good; quality of the construction crews was not. Many problems, the area was a mess everyday after they left and we found nails for weeks after the job was done. Not only that the crew left the disconnect box for the AC compressor was left hanging off the house and not properly re-installed where the siding had been replaced. According to our HVAC company, the loose connection caused the breaker inside to arc, causing failure to the components around it and the box to start melting due to the high heat of the arc. Continued failure could have caused a fire or the compressor's failure and replacement. I contacted Chris Worthington about this and never heard back.

They were very professional, understood what we needed, and did the job in a timely manner.

After meeting with numerous general contractors I decided to hire Worth Exteriors for a major renovation on my West Des Moines home. From the initial consultation with Darrell to working with the Kelly the foreman it was an amazing experience. Chris (the owner) even stopped by to check in on the project. The price was extremely competitive and they were responsive to every request and did an amazing job on the entire project (new roof, new Pella windows, new Hardie Plank siding, new garage door, and a new gutter system). They even accommodated some last minute changes without complaining or adding on large costs. This is a first class company and I would recommend them to family and friends without hesitation. Keep up the good work fellas!

Did everything you can ask of your contractor - showed up on time, completed the work as agreed, answered all questions and made recommendations as needed, performed quality workmanship and followed up to ensure the job was completed to our satisfaction. Would have no hesitation in recommending or having Worth perform additional work on our home in the future.
