Stanley Martin Homes

A HISTORY THAT SPANS GENERATIONS.

We are one of the national capital area's most recognized name in new home construction and development, with over 10,000 families living in our Virginia and Maryland communities. We are excited about expanding our company to now offer homes in Richmond, Maryland, Raleigh, Charlottesville and Northern Virginia as well. Since 1966, our mission has remained constant: to provide our customers with leading home designs for the best value, built with construction excellence, and delivered with the highest level of professional service.

Stanley Martin was founded in 1966 by Martin K. Alloy, who passed the helm to his son Steven B. Alloy in 1998. Martin K. Alloy continues today as Stanley Martin's Chairman, and Steven B. Alloy as President. Martin K. Alloy succeeded in creating a dynamic organization that combines the entrepreneurial spirit and vitality of a local business with the strengths and economies of a large, stable corporation. As a locally-owned company, Stanley Martin strives every day to create housing designs and communities that will have a positive effect on its surrounding neighborhoods.

WE TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR SATISFACTION.

In the words of Martin K. Alloy, "Honesty, integrity and character are critical values in our company culture that pervade all of our activities. Our team of employees are members of our local community just like I am, and if we are going to succeed long term, we need to conduct our affairs in a manner that will benefit the community and result in quality neighborhoods that we are proud of."

We recognize that buying a home is a big decision – perhaps one of the biggest you’ll make in your lifetime. And although we may build over 600 homes this year, we know you’re only interested in one – yours. Therefore, we honor your commitment and we encourage your involvement every step along the way to ensure that your home is unique to you and the way you live your life.

Answers from contractors near Reston, VA

How much does a built-in cast iron tub (circa 1930) weigh?
Jun 18, 2015
They start at 250/260 lbs and go up from there. I haven't run into any over 500lbs, but I'm sure they're out there.
I had Thompson Creek windows installed and now have to re-install (ADT) alarm sensors - where is the best location on my new windows to re-install these sensors

You should contact Thompson Creek directly to make sure nothing you do will void your warranty.
