what is the best way to keep flying insects (wasp, bees, hornets) from entering your roof eaves vents? There's screen but not small enough to keep them out.

The GAF Cobra vent (not the country or snow country cobra) ridge vent can help solve this problem.  It solves it because of the microwoven fiberglass makes it difficult for unwanted wind driven rain, moisture, bugs, and animals to enter into the home since the fiberglass is woven together so tightly.  The cobra is woven all the way through.

Here is an interesting take on the situation that I got out of the real estate section of the New York Times.http://www.nytimes.com/2003/03/23/realestate/your-home-eliminating-wasps-and-their-nests.html?pagewanted=all

Depending on the type of soffit/eave vents, it would be easiest and most cost effective to replace them with a new vent that has smaller screen material.  Most of those can be found at a local supply store.

This is very effective.
